[84388] New: New entry requiredBuild=xxxxx; in server.cfg preventing obsolete clients to connect. Not reliable until 1.60, clients are still able to connect.

[84374] Optimized: MP: Reduced bandwidth used by standing AI soldiers.

(changes in data)

Improved: tracked and wheeled vehicles steering and braking AI ability.

Improved: animations with hang gun and gear animations.

+ several other fixes

Beware: the patch was broken. If anyone who downloaded it before the Buliwyf's post please download again.

Netcode improvements, AI driving improvements and handgun animation improvements... awesome! :D

Does the latter mean that the dreaded AI handgun stance-lock bug has been fixed?

Can't it be implemented to the core of the game so that any different version of the game than the server's version cannot connect to the server? I thought it has already been done.

I don't see these in the changelog:

Were they deleted?

As always, not every fix is listed in the changelog. No idea why; that's just the way it is.

It seems still broken, dta\bin.pbo and languagecore.pbo signature mismatch on v2 enabled servers.

As always, not every fix is listed in the changelog. No idea why; that's just the way it is.
Bugs introduced by intermediate beta versions and solved in later beta versions are not included in the changelog.

Still, they should mention them seperately :P (Yet the community can assist with some of them too at least from CIT tickets)

They started a clean new changelog it seems.

The new setting allows you to control buildnumbers, while normal the server is version locked (1.58, 1.59 etc).

The betas keep increasing buildnumbers but not version number, until the final patch or a big change was introduced which really needs to bump the version number.

did anyone also get that jerky movement as gunner when you are with a teammate in the same vehicle.

also checkt in the backseats. really jerky view.

Seems the handgun stuck problem is gone, I tested with my mission that could reproduce the problem with 99 % certainty, and it never happened now after several tries. The machinegunner still prefers the pistol over his MG36, but that seems to be a faulty range for the G17, as has been mentioned here before.

Thanks for the fix, that was really an annoying bug that cost many a good soldier a bullet to the leg ;)

While KSK soldiers still prefer the Glock17 to their main weapon, I've yet to see a soldier irrevocably locked in place with this beta.

thats really funny, with this beta, you look at your teammate, he walks/runs around, you switch (alt-tab) to desktop and back ingame. and you see:

Yeah, I had those as well, and without switching to the desktop.

I also noted that animation of players from other clients are slower than normal. You can even see their own footprints overtake them.

I just saw this too and it affected Players and server controlled A.I. as well in MP. Looks like this build is not good on 1.59 servers. We need 1.60 as a new base.

no, we where on a dedicatedserver (beta) running on my system. so server and all games where the sane beta.
