  1. I'm looking to change elements of the default ArmA targeting pod - specifically, I want to add UI elements like 10-digit grids and target elevation. I know how to get that information, but what I don't know is how to make it appear in the UI. If possible, I'd also like to remove some vanilla elements like the narrow FOV box. Any insight on how to do these things?
  2. Anyone know if there is a way to disable the targeting pod camera ie TGP on aircrafts?
  3. So as the title states I'm curious what you all think about efficiency/optimizations when it comes to writing a lengthy script/mod for a mission. My current scripted mod is AC-C4I (Air Craft Command, Contol, Computers, Communications, & Intelligence). It has to do with sensors and targeting. The scripts have a lot of "waitUntil" commands for locking the targeting camera to screenToWorld amongst other functions. What would be the most efficient way to write this/integrate it into a mission. I can write the whole thing in one file and "call compile preprocessFileLineNumbers" on init. I can create a CfgFunctions.hpp and add it to the description.ext, or I could make it an FSM. I'd love to hear from you guys. Thanks.
  4. A request for BIS developers regarding the Jet DLC, it would be possible to have some kind of simple autopilot?... something that only holds the altituides and gyroscopic heading. Problems arise when i use the TGP because the plane loses height. Thanks

I create a tiny little mod that does 2 things: * it adds laser designator (batteries included!) to all vanilla planes, with allows you to self designate targets for LGB * increases the allowed horizontal turn level in TGP view from -180, 180 to -720, 720 with lets you pan view freely. Hey guys so you may have noticed GeraldBolso1899's post on the fourm in the Addons & Mods Discussion about Making a targeting pod well I made a script which was very basic then but since that week I've created a much better version GeralBolso, 161st V-SOAR & some guys from the 39th Battalion tested it out and reported some feedback for me and ideas which I have implemented Init.sqf code null = [] execVM "tgpalpha8_972661.sqf"; also OPTIONAL for messing around you can either place in the INIT.SQF or modify these in the script it self Variables that can be changed: Config Variables (for cfgVehicles) Features -On and Off ability -Designed for multi team use -Ability to use the Targeting Pod without the need of a UAV Terminal if are part of the crew of the vehicle -Ability to allow for someone else to use the Targeting Pod assuming TGP_Veh_Only is equal to 0 -Optimized -Different positions for each vehicle -Mod supported vehicles Currently are HAFM Helis, Pearl A-10C, STI A-10A, SU-35, F/A 18E/F/X, CHO F-35, IVORY F-15C, IVORY MIG-29K, IVORY GR-4, HAFM Planes, RHS, FireWill F16C ISSUES PRESENT -TGP_Veh_Only is still very buggy if anyone who is willing to shed some light on the situation please do Future -A mod is currently being assembled.
