Since last Saturday, according to friends (today for me), there has been a problem in the party lobby. It happens from time to time. When starting the game it does not load and at the end of the countdown the wait for loading takes a very long time before starting the game / or you make an application error / or the game never launches

When you group units together into a squad, they adopt a default name, usually along the lines of Alpha 1,1. This is the name that shows up in the character select lobby when hosting a server. I know you can change the role description of the squad by going into it's attributes, and the name change is reflected in the editor. But their name stays as the same default in the multiplayer lobby, Alpha 1,1. Is it possible to change their name so it appears different there too?

I had an idea for there to be a weather cycle in the lobby like there is in some maps that the player could remove if they just want the weather to be normal, this could also apply to a daylight cycle for the lobby that follows the same rules as the weather cycle idea.

Hello everyone! Sorry if I post a duplicated topic, but I still need a help. I have a problem that I couldn't find a solution to. On my dedicated server I need to handle players when they connect to a lobby, but unfortunately the onPlayerConnected event doesn't satisfy my needs. The problem is the onPlayerConnected and its stackable version only appear when a mission is started and it's doesn't work when there is the lobby or a briefing time. I would like you guys to give me some possible solutions, I just need to call a script when a player connects to the server in any time. Thanks in advance!

Hello, we are running an Altis Life server with @extDB2 and @asm. Since the last update 1.56 we've got some problems with our server performance. Sometimes if one player gets back to the lobby, our rpt log outputs the following message: 2016/04/14, 14:10:37 Client: Remote object 5:0 not found After this message the rpt log gets spammed with the following message multiple times per second: 2016/04/14, 14:10:37 Update of nonlocal object 2:4527 called We have tried to run the newest performance build but the same issue occured. It does not happen every server session (6 hours). Our server FPS are affected from the log spamming. Sometimes the log file is larger than 20 MB per session. Is someone else also experiencing this issue?

Chernarus as error-free vanilla addon/DLC for Arma 3

It really would be great to have an official BIS-released vanilla addon or DLC of Chernarus for Arma 3. I know, there are methods to implement Chernarus and even Chernarus+ into Arma 3. But it is always connected with issues, flaws and error messages (before game start, in menu, in editor, in preview, script errors). I would even PAY for an A3 Chernarus DLC (though I own the preorder supporter editon of A3). Just the pure landscape, A2 weapons and vehicles don't have to be included (though it would be great). Nothing would have to be improved ('old' textures and such). Chernarus is one of the most beautiful and amazing landscapes ever created. It should be taken over and made be playable without any errors. No, I am not beating down on Karts, but imho most players should be happier about a flawless and inherently supported vanilla Chernarus (and Utes) than about those Karts. -
anyone tried to INTERUPT the moveto command?

basically has anyone acomplished the task of interupting the MoveTo command in a FSM? our group cannot figure out why we cant interupt it. is there any other commands that we could look into? basically our AI is following the players path a bit too much its quite funny but annoying at the same time -

New Beta was released. With one huge change - this beta is not part of Arma2: operation Arrowhead beta product, but is a branch of normal Arma2: operation Arrowhead. This was needed so both beta and normal game have the same product ID. How-to-change-Arma-branches-between-STABLE-amp-DEVELOPMENT. Changelog: - added steam ownership checking - BE update edit: you need to restart steam to see it :) edit2: Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead - Dedicated Server now has branch "beta" as well
