2nd Battalion Parachute Regiment About Us Sometimes referred to as 2PARA we are a Arma III MILSIM community that believe in having fun while getting the job done. We believe that Military Simulation can be done without certain aspects of the real military such as addressing people by their rank or calling them “Sir”. We aspire to create a fun Milsim environment for new or seasoned Milsim players from around the world, however we are Australian based and look after our Aussie members before our international members as the largest part of our community is Australian. Player Vs Player Large Scale Combined Arms Event

2nd Ranger Battalion will be hosting a Public Player vs Player event on Saturday the 23rd of December (2pm CST). The aim of this PVP event will be to get our name out into the public, and possibly show some people what we are all about but overall, the aim of the event is to have fun, and play the game we all have come to love, the way it was meant to be played. In a large scale, Combined Arms, Player vs Player, environment. The game mode will be as follows: There will be one attacking team and one defending team, after each round the teams will switch. The game will be moderated by a player acting as Zeus. Who may add certain events to keep the battle interesting, like weather changes and perhaps assistance to the losing side. Teams will be assigned on join, and each player will respawn in waves. The game will be modded and use Task Force Radio. A plugin for both arma and teamspeak. We are trying to keep the game mode relatively simple, we want everything to be fun. How to apply: Just respond to this forum. We will reach out to you with a modlist and a teamspeak IP. Make sure you double check the mods before joining. Any extra mods that are not aesthetic will result in a ban (i.e. Blastcore and JSRS, personal arsenal will result in a ban) Requirements: A legal copy of Arma 3. A working Microphone. 39th Battalion - Arma 3 Milsim Unit Our Identity Established in 2013, the 39th Battalion Arma Clan fosters the memory of Australian Infantry soldiers who famously defended against the advance of the Japanese Imperial Army over Stanley Ranges of Papua New Guinea during World War 2. Our Legacy In observance of their sacrifice, the 39th Battalion Arma Clan pursues all available Arma 3 and Community wide resources, in concurrence with historical and modern military procedures in order to model ourselves on the proud men and women who serve in Australia’s Defence Force. What we do Our clan runs official weekly operations every Sunday 6:30pm till 9pm EST. We also run other activities during the week, most notably Fridays our Beer & Bullets night where we play casual Arma missions or other free military games.
