  2. Your work is amazing. I don't use all of these mods but they are really well done. Great work. We have a question about the Simple MapTools mod.... how do you actually enable it? One of the players on our server is trying to use it. He has the mod loaded up. And jumps on our server. How can he load the map tool while in-game? Is it a key bind? Does it show up in his arsenal as an object to place in his inventory? Thank you for what you have contributed to the community.
  3. ...I would like to increase the respawn delay time for a particular side as higher than 5 minutes. We are playing a 15 minute mission and I want to "encourage" one side to slow-play the scenario. Therefore, I would like to know how to script a REspawn Delay of higher than 5 minutes for that side (INDY/Guer). On another mission, I would ljust like to know how to increase the REspawn Delay to higher than 5 minutes for all players. Thank you for any help.   4. Your work is awesome. We in the community appreciate it. Any help you could be, we would appreciate. We are trying to create a hybrid TDM/VIP Extraction gametype. Whereby...Blu For and Op For are involved in a TDM fight in a city, and they each get 12 respawn tickets available. Simultaneously, we want an INDY force that only has 4 respawn tickets and is tasked with escorting a VIP thru the city to an extract at a safe airfield. The problem is ... when INDY runs out of respawn tickets, the game is over. The game ends. We do not want the game to end when INDY runs out of respawn tickets, but WE DO want the game to end when Blu For and Op For runs out of respawn tickets. Hence, Blu for and Op For are pllaying TDM (they can kill/be killed by INDY however) ... while INDY is given a task to get a VIP (there are 2 on the map) to the airfield and out of the map. Could the information in this video help with our issue? Because, to my untrained eye, it seems like it could help. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.]
  5. "Can't find a mission collection / mission with template name" We are unable to get our server to display any custom missions. We are able to see default Arma 3 missions for Altis, Stratis, Tanoa, Malden, and VR. However, the custom missions we have uploaded (through out File Manager and FTP) do not display, at all. FYI we do not have any mods loaded on the server yet, we are simply trying to get custom missions going at this point. We are using the Default Command Line with no mods.     "Reset" a trigger

    Interesting thread. I am currently working on a training scenario with live targets (AI) as part of each task. I would like to 'reset' the task once it has been completed, without resetting the scenario. Any ideas or help on how to do that? This thread seems to be more specific to pop-up targets, and I was not sure how much of that would be applicable to actual AI that spawn in. Thanks.

    Want to play online for the first time

    Hey, I might be able to help. I understand not wanting to go in KOH or other PvP game types that take a few weeks to get a decent weapon. I run with a small group that plays done Co-Op scenarios and also some PvP games that we have created. It might give you an option to try PvP game types. Let me know. We run PvP stuff with no stupid training or tryouts, and certainly no group applications. Just show up and play. What you're looking for isn't selfish or impossible btw.   11. I created a TDM scenario for 10 on 10 gameplay. This one is in Agios Dionysios, and has barriers that restrict the playable area. There are limited supplies on the map, and two resupply locations for Blu For and Op For to fight over. Feel free to check it out if you like. Uses minimal mods (should be listed at the link). Any feedback is appreciated. First-person only settings. I am aware that the respawn ticket counter works, but does not display on-screen on a player's HUD (it does display on the player death/respawn screen). Let me know what you think.   12. Same here. I am looking for a Respawn Ticket Counter to be displayed in game, similar to what is used in the Apex Protocol missions.
  13. I am currently have a issue where, with two different endings in my description.ext, and two different triggers set in my multiplayer mission....only one ending will display. I will attempt to get the coding in here so someone smarter than ,e can help. It is weird. I preview the mission, and use all my respawns .... the trigger fires and the correct ending is shown. (If Blu For runs out of respawns, I see a "Op For wins!" display that I typed into my description.ext. However, if I then jump back in an test the other side of it (Op For running out of respawns), I still get the "Op For wins! ending. The wrong one. I shut down Arma, open up the Editor, test the mission. Op For runs out of respawns----> Blu For wins! Great, but. Then I test it a second time, and (with Blu For running out of respawns), I get the "Blu For wins!" ending. Only the first instance of the testing works. And I am backing out to the Editor between tests, then "Play in Multiplayer". Any ideas?

  15. I know I am late to the game here, but does this work? I am creating a TvT/PvP game type, that is essentially a simple TDM. Well, I am unable to get the score limit to work. As in, when one team reaches 10 kills, the game does not "end" automatically. I am collecting scripts and using them in the various places (description.ext and init.sqf as appropriate), but so far have been unable to get any method to work. Any ideas or suggestions? I could post the scripts I am using (which are admittedly a mess, I am sure). Or just follow along in a video. I have been searching for about a week, to no avail. Any help is appreciated.
