  3. I have a MSI 6800XT and have never had this problem, sp or mp. Maybe its your brand of card? total AMD system too 5800x and 32gb ram.

  6. Hello, Having issues unpacking the pbo from missions I have made. it is adding this to the start of the mission.sqm and it should not be there or at least commented out. Problem is the ediotr will not open the file and lists the errors below. sable random button and shortcut keys LARs_overrideVA_random = 1; it is not adding the end of the file either and cuts it off. Example below }; class Item112 { linkID=112; item0=4129; item1=4113; class Cu it is missing this last part to end the file class CustomData { type="Sync"; }; }; }; }; I would love to use this as Mikeros tools have crapped the bed and no longer work no matter what i do. thanks!

    Bon's Infantry Recruitment Redux

    Anyway to get this to only work for only certain players and/or ranks not all players? Found a solution for this on the Rock Paper Shotgun forum of all places posted by SvDvorak. Only specific named players (rowdy) can see recruit action when this code is placed in an object like a flagpole. Works on dedicated server with respawn in place. No others will see the prompt unless they are named to see it. this addAction["Recruit Infantry", "bon_recruit_units\open_dialog.sqf", nil, 6, True, True, "", "(_target distance _this) < 4 && _this == rowdy"];
  8. Fair enough, seems like I dont fully understand what he is trying to do. But reading what he wrote, I interpreted is like he is trying to get 2 zeuses (is that a word?) to work at the same time in a MP mission, on 2 different factions. I did this through the method I mentioned above. I hope it gets it to work.
  9. why not just place to zues modules down and name each one to correspond with a player. ie/ zeus s1 = blufor player named s1 and zeus s2 = independent player named s2. Works for me and they both have cart blanche to do whatever they want. no scripts. easy peasy

  15. I need to pull the trigger on a new system as my old intel 6700k is on its way out. MB is starting to drop connections to ssd and hd's. I am thinking of the 5800x over anything intel is offering right now. Looking at pairing it with either the msi X570 TOMAHAWK WIFI or gigabyte X570 AORUS ELITE WIF The dilemma is, there is a package deal right now for the 5800x and the gigabyte X570 AORUS ELITE WIF which will save me $70 over buying the msi board. Do I splurge and get the msi over the gigabyte and save $70 (to put towards better ram) or go with the msi mb? thanks

  17. Hey Pierremgi I wasnt able to get the script working properly on a dedicated server and gave up. If you are still willing to add the option to turn off the notification on your module I will sing your praise from the Arma heavens!!! If you are still willing that is.. thanks!
  18. Yes and you are absolutely correct to make it that way ot any way you want, so don't be sad. I just don't want the people I play with to know when the mhq respawns back at base. A mission design preference to keep them from knowing exactly when it responds or else the dynamic of the mission will be just running and grabbing the mhq as soon as it respawns because they will know when it does as per the indicator. I use your modules for a lot of other things and the most valued is the flip vehicle one. It would be worth it's weight it gold if BIS could fix that stupid Collison issue in the next Arma on dedicated servers.
  19. Ok, it works in SP and MP but not on a dedicated sever. It is obviously not calling the script properly on a server and is missing the proper code to get it to read correctly. I will mess aound with it a bit more. thanks!
  20. Ok you don't understand what I am asking so let me clarify for you. This works on a dedicated server. what doesnt work is this; see below 2 : CODE (OPTIONAL) - Initialization for vehicle. (To call vehicle use: _this) The code I use in the init of the car to teleport to base will not work once the car has been destroyed and then respawned. It works in sp and mp hosted missions but not on a dedicated server. Any ideas why?
  21. Nope, they start as empty and whether they move or stay in place while they get destroyed, the init code doesnt work. Again it is only on dedicated server.
  22. Love the script and works great on a dedicated sever but I cannot get scripts to work in the init. They work fine in SP and MP hosting but not on dedicated server once the vehicle respawns. Anyone figure out how to get it to work? I don't want to use MGI modules as there is no way to turn off the notification once the vehicle respawns and Pierre wont add that option to turn it off.
  23. Hey Pierre, The script version works great except for one problem when using ace. When a tank blows up and loses its turret, the vehicle respawns in without its turret. Any fix for this? thanks!!
  24. I cannot stress how important this is and really the only fix needed.
