The scripts have been rewritten to significantly reduce in game network traffic - now there is only approximately 72 bytes sent across the network when you change appearance. 2. By using publicEventhandlers the JIP down load required for any appearance changes that have already occurred in mission has also been drastically reduced. 3. AI units are now randomly assigned BLUFOR faces and speak English Units require AAW Infantry Weapons Pack Change Appearance Options To change appearance go to any ammo crate. With vanilla you will get an option via the action menu. With ACE use your left or right windows key For more information on the change appearance features and how you can set the appearance of AI or players or make the function available at all times please go through the aawInfantryReadmeAndTermsOfUse.pdf document found in the aawInfantry.7z file. Laqueesha 474 Posted April 23, 2010 Finally some quality Aussies to play around with! Maybe we can have the Yanks and Aussies hang out at the pub in ArmA 2? :D
Delta 51 10 Posted April 23, 2010 Must say, great job on the detail, and also the in-game customization. But just quickly, is one of the flag variants meant to be a hi-vis IR patch? Just seemed like it but wasn't glowing much

[xdf]kanga 0 Posted April 24, 2010 (edited) Thanks for the responses fellas, glad you guys are enjoying them Must say, great job on the detail, and also the in-game customization. But just quickly, is one of the flag variants meant to be a hi-vis IR patch? Just seemed like it but wasn't glowing much Yeah we tried to give it more of a glow but its the same old issue with anything bright completely drowning out your ninox, so if you were standing with in like 10 m of a team mate your screen would black out barring the patch. The strobes how ever worked out fine because the black out issue takes a few seconds to kick in and they don't stay on for long enough to affect them. Delta 51 10 Posted April 24, 2010 Is there a way how you could treat it like a chem light from ace but with very low brightness? Just thinking by doing that you could get the circle that appears at a distance, somewhat simulating the patch? Anyway as all have said great work.
Monty Bravo 21 Posted April 24, 2010 I just have to say... Utterly fantastic work AAW.

instagoat 133 Posted April 24, 2010 Thanks for these, they are fantastic. I love how much detail you put into these models (for example the pockets on the upper arms, and the elevated patches). Again, thank you for bringing this beautiful addition to the community and to my addon collection.
