Going to upload a new version of the Mod in around a week or so. Just a small update for now so everyone can play cimalex's upcoming campaign.

New units will include:

Naval Marines

Naval Mi-8MTW, Naval AB-212ASW,

Iranian IRIN Hengam LST with landable helicopter deck

New Airforce Panha 2091 with Toophan AT missiles

here u go YORT got one boregh w\ dskhm without m113 front shield i know iran has older m113 that they got i've just ported from ofp still need premission i am looking for author almost done although m113 needs bit more work on skin and good to go got some other good stuff for your mod but i am trying to help some other guy with his mod its a lot of work to do plus i need permissions from original authors will see in a future what i can do to help

why port from OFP? in the arma 1 sample models there's the m163 it has the same m113's hull

I don't know why he did it, but damn it looks good. That OFP port looks better than the A1 model. Could use some more detailed textures in some parts, but it looks great.

Those special forces are still being finished, as they are only part of what will be the second update of the Iranians mod, containing more troops, armour etc. More on a release date later though. However, to satisfy missions using the ocean around Iran, we are releasing a special update, which when combined with what we have done so far, makes this mod extremely large in troop, armour and vehicle numbers. Both YorT and I appreciate all the assistance and advice we get from you all and welcome the contributions with models

The @Iranian_Forces_AI_Config is an option and will not impact on any of the ingame units, basically improves gameplay (in my opinion :D)

The other issue you have is that if picking the Iranian F-14 you will get this error if you do not have it installed.

This will be fixed on the next release (due in a few days!! ;)) as Southy/Eble has given me permission to include the F-14 and F-4 in the Mod, so this will stop any reference to external units being an issue in the future.

Breaking news from the Strait of Hormuz Homuz:

Again the tension rises in the already troubled archipelago of Quesh-Kibrul, the islands that are in the crosshair of aggressive iranian military exercises during recents days; a few hours ago, while Arabian league leaders where at a meeting in Dubai, an Iranian navy Mi-8 crashed over the north east side of the main island, killing all four on board.

According to the iranian navy spokesman the helicopter got lost during a night flight and crashed over a hill after mechanical failure, but the QKDF (Quesh Kibrul Defence Forces) chief of staff have declared that the chopper have been shot down during daylight by an Avenger AAA unit after it had repeatedly violated the Emirate airspace, and was performing aggressive maneuvers over QKDF sensible installations.

In Dubai the Arabian league leaders have made an attempt to solve peacefully the tense situation around the Quesh-Kibrul archipelago, but the president of Iran said at press conference that will be no compromise with the US and their allies, and the Quesh-Kibrul Emirate might send out all foreign troops that are mining peace and stability in the region of the Middle East.

Meanwhile the naval blockade of the islands continues despite iranian claims that the measure is temporarily, and only for exercise and safety purposes; today a couple of japanese oil tankers trying to get out the Strait of Hormuz have been intercepted by iranian corvettes inside international waters and forced to get back.

US-Centcom high ranks declared that even outnumbered, US and Coalition forces in the islands could easily manage an iranian attempt of invasion, relying on superior intelligence and technology, but one wonders how, with only a handful of MQ-9 Reapers and no more than 6 - 8 UH-60 and AH-6 choppers, and a single reinforced infantry battalion on strenght.
