Ok, so the error posted on previous page of this thread, that i have been getting is related to me simply building onto the existing BTC revive template i downloaded to create a new mission with the BTC revive features. The starting point was simply to leave the box and two spawn vehicles and then delete what opfor units at the airfield I did not want. I deleted the Ifrit mobile_east_0 vehicle and thats when I got the error message. So not being that familiar with the revive script writing, does that mean I must delete the east spawn points in the BTC_revive_init script or edit something else ?

Unfortunately the changing of the blufor player unit with weapon did not fix the onscreen error pop up I am still getting. I have uploaded the mission in its most basic state of 2 spawn vehicles, the cargo box and 1 player blufor unit in the hope someone can check it out for a fix. my current arma 3 version is 74.108 http://rapidshare.com/files/4057257220/steve_respawn_test.Stratis.rar

i got the latest d/l of your site as well. i had a prob with the flag checked east spawn site, but fixed that by calling it a flag pole but lost on the text i posted above. must say, its a detailed script, that is well out of my understanding on how it works, but it does. any help to sort our errors, much appreciated

I am still working through the latest version and the demo supplied. now on the screen is the following which does not disappear. I had an error with flag checked no longer exists error and changed that in the mission to a flag pole which stopped the error, but now the below appears '...getDir _veh; waituntil {sleep 1; !Alive !*!_veh}; _veh setvariable [_set,0,true]: s...' Error Underfined variable in the expression;_Veh any ideas much appreciated well blow me down with a feather, I posted and immediately saw the above post. I must have found my gaming twin
  5. In arma 3, alot more work should have been done to upgrade the editor, which is a huge part in personalizing game play. The arma 2 system of long complicated scripting, for individual units simply to respawn, land, teleport , air lift, carry paratroopers and unload etc etc, the list goes on, are common facets of the game and should be readily accessible from drop down boxes on the unit or waypoint option. I cant believe so much work has been done to present the Arma3 editor appearance in a different skin and yet the absence of this important ability still restricts even the newest to editing, from effortlessly, producing a high quality mission

    Iranian Forces Mod

Any keen Arma 2 enthusiast who visits the numerous sites dedicated to the game, may find a self professed group of experts ready to ridicule, who unlike Yort and myself, carefully research the models we included in this mod. For the benefit of that naive group, who doubted that Iran has a blue helo, I include here a pic of the Naval chopper we used. That said, both Yort and I do appreciate the helpful suggestions from our friends

    Iranian Forces Mod

Those special forces are still being finished, as they are only part of what will be the second update of the Iranians mod, containing more troops, armour etc. More on a release date later though. However, to satisfy missions using the ocean around Iran, we are releasing a special update, which when combined with what we have done so far, makes this mod extremely large in troop, armour and vehicle numbers. Both YorT and I appreciate all the assistance and advice we get from you all and welcome the contributions with models

    Iranian Forces Mod

Thanks for the feed back. YorT and I, have had some success in adding some "rough up" to the aircraft and some soldier uniforms, which have greatly improved the appearance. As I am a fast learning novice with photoshop, I will revisit previous models I have worked on and will also improve their realism.

    Arma 2 1.06 Patch Suggestions

I hope that they finally fix the editor so that you can actually force a helo to land even though its in a heavy enemy ai area. At the moment, it usually just flys in the one spot above the ground. Most frustrating
