Famas would be a problem, since US dont use her neither insurgents like the G3.

I saw the PLA mod was updated recently to 'fix' the elongated necks, when is that going to be pushed through the Updater? I really want to use PLA for missions but those necks are too comical right now :P

If they were updated, then they are available via Six Updater. You may have a setting wrong. Check that you have the PLA mod in your list and it's not skipping that one.

ACEX_PLA isn't set to skip and it's part of the update cycle every time, even been updated a few times but solder's necks are still very long

How to install A.C.E.

Re PLA Necks, according to Git changelogs these were indeed fixed. Also the files available on Six Updater already include these changes.

However it does not seem to be working. I hope we can sort this out with Fromz soon, must be something small :)

As I was saying, I did click 'Update' after re-adjusting the settings though without any result. None the less, it seemed to be working properly after today's Gems update.

Now, time to update ACE/ACEX :)

It seems like an update of ACE returns 'Install or Update' back to 'Install or Update, and Startgame'. This is the proper behaviour I assume?

Question about the version number:

Is this version 288 or 287? The news on DH says 287 but the Updater and main menu say 288. Nothing big, just want to make sure.

Ehr sorry about that guys, it was indeed 289. Corrected it now, and applied some extra fixes, so Build 290 is available ;)

First hit "Synchronize" please, so you get the correct version info.

Hey thank you for fixing the AI CSW mount weapon issue. I just tried it and it worked beautifully. Now my mission is that much better. I love this option!

I just want to point out something about the support these guys offer since they've been often accused of not giving any.

I'd like to direct people to really my first and only official bug report:

Now in the grand scheme of things this is a minor, minor issue that I have a feeling I'm the only SP player that wanted to use it thus far. It's a bug that for the most part effects SP players.(I know there's MP use for AI mounting the CSWs as well but for the sake of my point forget about that for the moment.;))

This bug could've easily been pushed way "down the list" as I expected but less then 2 weeks later it was fixed. So basically they took however much time to fix an issue that really only one person mentioned and on top of that this was from an SP player. That's f*&^%n' support my friends! That whole bug tracker proves it but this is a great example of great support. A piddly little bug submitted by an SP fan fixed quickly is the essence of support if you ask me.

Anyways and once again, thanks a ton to these guys!

Will there be any updates to some of the optics such as the RCO? With the current reticles they actually use in the miltary for the last 4 years?

URLs are case sensitive (ie lowercase & uppercase matters). So make sure the Auto-Config-URL is entered exactly as above, otherwise may result in 404.

Check the DH bug tracker "feature" section, I think it's been requested. If not, you should open a ticket since it will never get addressed here.

There's also an fnc_ballistics and fnc_scopes but I couldn't find it at that site. It the one I use now. I've used the MEU version as well. There's a ton of options for reticles there.

I can't get my gunners hellfires etc to adjust his path toward the target..

That way i may as well just use manual fire heh

Did you guys remove the CN grenades for the M203? I sear I saw them this morning but I don't see them anywhere now. Very weird stuff.

1) read the markings on side of the scope

2) check if the reticles you have correspond to these particular types

3) what more exactly do you want?

The hellfires just don't adjust towards their target..

I use CBA 3.0, ACE2, ACEX2 and ACEXpla2

If 3.0 means the latest version available on Six Updater, then im clueless for the time being :)

(The exact versions are printed in the ArmA 2 RPT btw)
