Sickboy and Rexehuk

I see when running install, update and play. I get an error in the CL box that @ACE and @ACEX.....

Checking for updates....

WARNING: Failed to open the repository, not installed!

Round userconfig, processing...

Then starts splash screen with x.x.182.

Do you think that is where my problem could be coming from. The lack of getting to the repos to update the client????

It may have a replacement for this ACOG model. If not ask the author, he can probably add one.

Got that, it only modifies the reticles only. I'm talking about the model of the sight.

Edit: Pause at 1:16. It will give you a clear view of the ACOG model that I was talking about.

Oh, how do I get those reticles to work by the way? I got the mod selected, but the reticles are not appearing on the ACE weapons.

Thought i saw this one come by earlier, probably u didnt get the initial release with the sixupdater. I would check :

- check if u have a @CBA, @ACE and @ACEX subfolder in ur Arma2 dir

- check if each of the above folder has a .rsync subfolder

If u haven't i would suggest a complete reinstall using the sixupdater.

Wish they redo the textures of vehicles ported over from ArmA1 a bit. They look out of place due to their low detail level when put besides a similiar ArmA2 stock vehicle. Example : HMMMV.

Anyway, keep up and dont forget to improve the AI! Feels like cheating them if they cant use all the ACE2 features on their own.

I'm looking for an ACOG with that tiny sight on top for CQC. I was browsing through the crates, and found some weapons with preview pictures with that scope on it, but the actual 3d model is the other variant without the sight on top.

You are right my friend. I have tried DEL the three folders in the arma2 folder and reinstalling. Now I check and only the @CBA has a .rsync. Which is in the only one that updates. mmm. Can I just del the sub-folders in arma2 and or have to del rsync program and reinstall and run everything?

They work, or they should. He added an ACE replacement in v1.15. It's in the Extras folder. It's called "fnc_scopes_acex_c.pbo".

Ahhh my apologies, I misunderstood you. I bet that model will eventually make it. I hope so. That model is close to my heart.

I'm looking for an ACOG with that tiny sight on top for CQC. I was browsing through the crates, and found some weapons with preview pictures with that scope on it, but the actual 3d model is the other variant without the sight on top.

In ArmA2 there is M4A1 M203 RCO which have Acog NSN ,but in ACE2 was probably replaced by new model + with Acog TA31F

Yeah what i would do is just delete all the 3 subfolders and do a new install from the sixupdater. Dont think u need to reinstall the sixupdater. As long as u got the 3 mods configured u can do a install. If that fails u can always reinstall the updater to give it a shot.

Sorry for asking something that has probably been beaten to death. (I know I've seen mention of this -somewhere-, but now that I'm looking for it, I can't find it again.)

While the other tools seem to work, the updater web interface doesn't run on Win7 RC1 64-Bit at all (the console window opens and instantly closes again).

I grabbed the 'lazy' beta .yml instead. It runs with that, but I'd still like to know if there's a way to get the interface to run.

Also, I have already installed beta 61032. When running the patcher with the beta .yml, it states 'beta' Folder seems incopatible, skipping, or something like that. What's up with that?
