Going off of Wikipedia it seems that it was adopted primarily by the U.S. Navy for use by SEAL, Seabee, and Security units.

Either way it would still be cool to have. Keep up the hard work Christian, all your addons are wonderful. :)

I'd love the 'a3 as I find the burst mode on the 'a2/a4 to be much harder to keep on target. Quick bursts of full-auto work better for me. So +1 t that please pretty please :)

Maybe, after the publication of the M16A4 Pack comes the self whit the M4a1, but i can not promise this. ;)

Anyone knows how exactly making this "ti_ca.paa" for the thermal sight ?

I would like to create this for the M16A4´s, too can see the heat on the Weapons. :D

I see you using BIS stuff so you are lucky then , because BIS created that :D

Look into \weapons_e\M16\data and the m16_ti_ca.paa

and you must add this one rvmat line into your rvmat

class StageTI {
texture = "ca\weapons_e\m16\data\m16_ti_ca.paa";
};

Just rename paths , like you want

To the Shotguns Part, it´s the Problem the scattering (spread) of the Shotguns Projectile ect. I think that´s can not simulate the ArmA2 Game of the ammunition. So i no longer work at a any Shotgun Weapons. ;)

Unfortunately, there is no given in A2 a "Playmove" Animation. Regardless.

Searched but could not find how how add cigarette to ai unit in game? I know how to add to player.

You can found the cigarett´s in too you Profil Editor "In-Game". BUT i must say for OA,CO it´s the cigarette incorrectly adjust, because of the new head models of OA. (*see the Pic)

For ArmA2 ONLY Works the cigarett´s correct. ;)

So Guy´s, i have found free time for a Updating the *Funny* Cigarett AddOn for ArmA2:OA,CO. (This work has grown out of boredom) :D

Attention:

Please do NOT used both Versions together on you AddOn Mod folder ("C1987_Cigarettes.pbo" & "C1987_Cigarettes_oa.pbo")!

- C1987_Cigarettes.pbo       =     ONLY for Arma2 ALONE!    (Not in this pack)
- C1987_Cigarettes_oa.pbo    =     ONLY for ArmA2 whit OA,CO!

When you have ArmA2 ONLY whitout OA,CO Download the File here:

That´s the Problem. ArmA have no matching "PlayMove" anim for this, must therefore remain static (class glasses).

Great idea. Any chance you could make this a light source?

Reason is that, in ideal conditions, you can spot a burning cigarette half a mile away in the dark! That's just using your eyes (not IR).

Given that it's hot, you should also be able to spot it using IR optics but given that a human face is already warm it would probably be difficult to distinguish (even if the lit end if MUCH hotter).
