Was the hot fixed version named v1.0 too? (Edit: It's not recommended to do that, since the versions become too difficult to identify, when the old version lingers around.)

New island looks very nice and significantly more detailed than earlier beta. Nice work.

same issue with pixel errors from atop the tower at location 084 070 on top of the roof of the building with all the sandbags. just look northeast.

A tips to ACE players and IceBreakr's Isla Duala: Use the color module that comes with ACE called "EFFECT: MOVIE DAY". Just plop it out on the map. IMO adds a great deal to desert maps and especially this one! Looks even more high contrast/brown/hot something. :) Test it.

Thank you for this great island Ice!

I've noticed some "texture jumping" when flying above some cities, houses distorting, black textures coming on the picture sometimes, like using Gachopin's CH-53 pack in some cases. However it's hard to make pictures about it, but I'll try ehan I encounter next.

I just tried that "EFFECT: MOVIE DAY" module and i can't see any difference whatsoever :p

Great map! good for peacekeeping missions :P but i noticed that when im in editor and click Units ---> Empty, i get some error message about cfgvehicles... anybody else get this?

Yes i get the error everytime i choose something from the unit editor. Something about RUINS. The error comes all the time while working with the editor.

This and Panthera are my FAVORITE islands! I love the new camp SBP Camp Noobia and the many Airports, they're great!

Yes i get the error everytime i choose something from the unit editor. Something about RUINS. The error comes all the time while working with the editor.

Thank you guys for all the kind words, its just amazing to see how many people downloaded the island and that community is getting bigger and bigger (opposite to many other games).

I would ask you to see the open bugs & features list and report back if you find anything new.

Even if its v1.0 I won't abandon the project and try to fix the reported errors asap. I would ask all mission makers to send me PM to the mission topics so I can add them to the listing here. And please stay away from the smaller islands on SW and NW as they will be finished in the upcoming v1.1. SW island will be bigger, featuring two villages and road down to port. NW will be even bigger with an improvised airstrip. It will be used by rebels that are hiding in the lush jungle there. Training camps, drug factories etc. ;)

I'm also hoping to release a mission pack soon for all the Coop fans out there. And maybe couple of TvT missions too: Escort President, Crooks, Delivery Boys.

If you have any requests, ideas - I'm all ears ;)

I'm making a coop mission for Duala right now IceBreakr.

It's based loosely around Black Hawk Down, has custom music and a lot of custom voice-acting, and some pretty nice objectives if i say so myself.

It's still in beta, but release should be soon.

Could you possibly optimize it for better performance (Panthera)? I mean, even Chernarus runs better at times... I think trees are killing FPS where woods are dense but not sure...

Getting an error when opening the map in the missions editor - "Cannot open object ibr\ibr_plants\posed.3d".

Minoza: strange, in our team we have no performance issues and we're mostly using old rigs (8800 GT, Dualcore E6750)? What are your specs? I probably won't be doing any optimizations, all I can do is remove A2 trees that have performance issues.

zaphod6502: you're using @Panthera too, right? File ibr_plants.pbo supplied with Duala v1.0 is newer (removed all rpt errors, added posed object) but ArmA2 uses the first one loaded, that is probably the one from Panthera and second file is then skipped.

I'll update Panthera soon, meanwhile just delete the ibr_plants.pbo from Panthera v2.31 installation folder.
