no, in Chernarus not all buildings were destructible and enterable and in A2 I never saw many buildings such as those of previews

I have yet to encounter any AI that uses stairs in Vanila... I might be mistaken since I played with GL4 most of the time.

The AI on the roof was likely scriped onto the roof with getpos-setpos-something or other.

My guess is it's a slightly alternate universe, where some events are the same and some aren't, and some that are the same are shifted in time.

I mean, based on the names of the countries alone and the fact that it is set in the future, it should be obvious that this is the case.

Agreed, future events are set in an alternate universe, but important historical events like that wouldn't be different. I mean, Germany invaded Poland in 1939, not 1979, right? Anyways, I'm reading too much into this. :D

It's a seperate story set on Chernarus probably because the U.S. realised they had left some unfinished business. So it's perfectly feasible if Ed Winters is a pilot in OA, as long as he doesn't die, to make his comeback in EW

Even if that is the case, why would Ed Winter be flying Apaches? In Eagle Wing, it is revealed that Ed Winter is a Lieutenant in the United States Navy. The U.S. Navy doesn't fly Apaches, or any helicopter gunship of any kind. ;)

That's most likely because most of the countries you've described (with the exception of South Africa and some Caribbean countries) are Commonwealth realms. ;)

Oh I know and you're right, but the connection to the 'Mother Country' doesn't hold as much sway as it did up until the 1960s. You can also through the Republic of Ireland into the mix; that's a big one I missed out.

Oh I know from personal experience, mate. Believe me. I've met people in the United States military from all over the world. Many, or most, enlist to obtain U.S. citizenship and become Americans. :D

regarding ed winter, that whole campaign and the premise behind it was not really cannon, or realistic in the slightest. the navy dont fly attack choppers, and there are not "SF" attack wings, and they sure would not send in a single chopper with no support on such a dangerous mission. its purpose was to tell a tale of the end of the world, not be an accurate representation of modern air support :D

BIS are not adding Russians to Arrowhead! US Army | Euro Countrys and Middle Eastern Units... The Russians come with Arma II.. and since this is a standalone expansion

There is one addon already. The BIS has confirmed that ArmA 2 mods will work on the Arrowhead.
