lennard 447 Posted September 6, 2010 (edited) Great job you're doing there Rhodesy! Can't wait to have those in the jungles of Lingor. would be nice if you would give them helmet straps like these: Edited September 6, 2010 by Lennard
nodunit 397 Posted September 6, 2010 Anyone can guess what I'm now working on?http://a.imageshack.us/img10/3639/lhdturret.jpg :) And, yes, it moves, it fires and planes and choppers can attachto it!!! Duuude you can attach planes and helicopters to it? Can you fire them out of the barrel too? That aside, that is awesome if it does indeed move as you say and functions, more naval ships especially ones that are more than just displays are always a great feature..you don't see them at all these days. Rhodesy77 11 Posted September 7, 2010 @Lennard, you mean like this? :P still thinking about the webbing, should i leave em how it is with just a simply H-harness type webbing or something more? ideas? PM me :) Cheers Rhodesy
Fox '09 14 Posted September 7, 2010 impressive uvmapping huh wip 1993 rangers
max power 21 Posted September 7, 2010 Yes. I especially like the artistic stretching and the errant edges that conjoin one seemingly purposeful 'island' to another on the other side of the uv space.
STALKERGB 6 Posted September 7, 2010 @Lennard, you mean like this? :Pstill thinking about the webbing, should i leave em how it is with just a simply H-harness type webbing or something more? ideas? PM me :) Cheers Rhodesy I think Lennard may have been refering to the strap holding the helmet on the guys head rather than the band round the helmet. So like the chin starp ect... Could be wrong though.
CameronMcDonald 146 Posted September 7, 2010 The current strap you've got on there is that for the LWMH. I believe Lennard would like you to give it PASGT straps. :)

But that helmet band is a nice addition also, gives the helmet more of a shape.(if you get what I mean :p)

nodunit 397 Posted September 8, 2010 (edited) Nevermind, different woodland variation I guess..though out of curiosity is there a reason the camo has a gridline? Edited September 8, 2010 by NodUnit
pauliesss 2 Posted September 8, 2010 Testing my own camo based on real camo used by Slovak Armed Forces in Afghanistan, not very accurate though, but created without using camo images as base texture, so I am happy with the result. :)
GalComT 509 Posted September 8, 2010 (edited) my current project i started this 2 days ago, when its done its supposed to be the AGF serval whats basicaly left to do now is the gun mounts, the interior, and the weehls and the stuff that goes along with it, and of course the textures. scubaman3D 0 Posted September 9, 2010 (edited) A simple model to practice high-poly modeling on. Its a thermal monocular supposed to be like this: http://www.nightvisionsystems.com/prod/prodDetail.aspx?ID=231&from=6 The lowpoly in the picture is ~2600 triangles and the texture is a single 1024^2 diffuse map + the baked normal map. The high poly is here and its ~350,000triangles: Edited September 9, 2010 by scubaman3D

Yano 18 Posted September 9, 2010 Little more accurate. :)Nice, if you want to work on slovak regular woodland/desert uniform, these references could be useful:http://www.militaryphotos.net/forums/showthread.php?60082-Slovak-troops/page13 http://img34.imageshack.us/img34/950/000616248obr1.jpg http://forum.valka.cz/viewtopic.php/t/88188/start/
