Just finished a mission in the north. considerable improvement in performance. Made the North actually playable.

This has to be one of the most significant mods realeased yet.

but for some reason my performance doesnt grow magically in planted areas

I removed the QG entry from the config, but it isnt really needed I think?

Nothing helps to improve my performance tho, every setting (except shadows) has allmost the same FPS on low or verry high... even VD doesnt change FPS that much.

Same for me, I adjusted the shaders in game, and played up north also. Got my usual 19-21 frames with or wihout the mod running.

Not sure what I did wrong.

I have a XFX7900GT and tested this mod. I did notice a 10FPS increase in some areas which was great but then in other forest areas I noticed a slight FPS drop of 1-2 FPS, but that 10FPS increase will do me!! Thanks Kegetys

Confirmed, removing "Sara_dbe1" from the RequiredAddons line in the config file in sara_grass.pbo, works fine with default ArmA with no QG installed.

It's a hell of a great addon, and is highly appreciated. I see 10Fps increase with 2 8800 Ultra's in SLI.

I do however find it interesting that Queen's Gambit is/was required for this. This is something that should be shared with the community, and not dependant on some expansion pack I never have any intention on ever buying...
