Hi, i did the .paa's of my M4's icons in RGBA388 or whatever, and i

had no problem with anyone of 'em; also... i said the Mk23's sounds

as example... due to the size of the slide of booth (the USP & the Mk23)

weapons, but if you like the sound of my M1911-A1 (real sound sent

to me "by the God's grace...") you can take it if you want, and just

add "the God's grace" to the credits and everything should be just

fine. I only tryed the M14 and i should download again the 3 weapons

pack, but if you do a finnal effort and add weapon holder units then

will take me much much less to try each weapon and report &

maybe fix myself all what i may see as temporaryly wrong, instead

CRTL+C & CTRL+V all those damn classnames, that's a process

that really bores me to death. Let's C ya

P.S: I've you've time and will... will you think about the possibility

of add too some M1A Scout or even the SOCOM-II?.

SFP mod get MLODS of soldier and corel file of texture of soldier

so if you wanna add M203, other scopes i will give MLODS to develop, concernig sound smile_o.gif you know my email biggrin_o.gif

WPH compatibility ?

i just divided pack and added some new and fixed some bugs like M3 greasegun magazine using slot for pistol mags, or RPG rockets were the same effective

i was not changing class names for weapons, so every addon should work

I think you should change PG-7 speeds: in my opinion they are too low, BIS values seem to be much more real. It looks like I fire not grenade, but something like Javeiln missile.

Lynx, on Russian forum people found that this bug is caused by other mod ;]

my RPG 7 is in fact copy of BIS config values but with custom model and new optics

my balistics of RPG=BIS balistics

okay, improving bugs found by community :]

in east pack changed:

- faster sound in burst mode of AN94

- new icons for many weapons

- proper names for weapons

not changed - PGO sight mesh

now i am making new icons for all weapons smile_o.gif

Found another bug in the Swedish weapon pack.

The AK4 with aimpoint has a permanent muzzleflash........

now Polish pack after Maza report about bacd names fixed goes to FTP with new icons too (Mini Beryl without Eotech had the same name as weapon with Eotech)

concerning other things mentioned by Maza - if Polish army pack uses RPG-7D weapon, RPK < it is in Eastern pack, not in Polish, as i will do update of pack, i will throw out RPG without optics

what Maza seems to not understand - i made update of weapons pack, not units and vehicles pack

edit:

bug of AK4A flash - repaired, new file goes to FTP smile_o.gif

I've found another bug. The scoped Carl Gustav launcher seems to require the scope of the M21. When starting the mission you get an error: "Cannot open object vilas _svw\optika_m21.p3d"

It was / is a good idea, its brought about lots of bugs being brought to your attention which you are working well on fixing.

Hey Vilas!

I've found another bug. The scoped Carl Gustav launcher seems to require the scope of the M21. When starting the mission you get an error: "Cannot open object vilas _svw\optika_m21.p3d"

M21 optic!? Is this just because the addon isn't finished or because you don't know what a (Swedish) Charlie G optical sight looks like?

i had no idea it is such way

you have such resources that even google doesn't have

so i must changed optics today :]

shame i am poor in Photoshop, i am using old Corel, it has problems with alpha channels

but i will try to do such optics texture if i can smile_o.gif

or is there someone who wana cooperate with me and do some optics ?

May be it helps to store the images in .png format including the alpha channel. .png can be imported to textview, too.

Another tip: Check for BI-optic tga files first, else new optics will not look like the BI ones. So I prefer to modify a existing BI one to keep the look and feel.

Here it is, almost done. I still have to tidy it up a bit in places. When it's done I'll send you the .paa,

the .tga and the .psd (photoshop) files - I don't have Corel.

i just made German weapons pack icons and i am surprised that some of icons are not working sad_o.gif

althought they are visible as small in weapons box crate, but when i am choosing weapon than icon not works for unknown reasons

all icons were made the same way:

- picture from net

- paste on empty 512*256

- magic select tool with width 15 px

- alpha channel from selection

- save tga

and some icons work and some not sad_o.gif

all is RGB24 format sad_o.gif

i tried to do icons but seems i have something wrong

maybe Colonel you have idea what can be wrong in such file ?

i just reuploaded German weaps. pack and inside are new icons, but MG4 icons are not working

I am not a graphics expert (at all! ) but I don't think that

24 bit .tgas can record alpha channel information. Can your

graphics application save 32 bit .tga files? I certainly find

that transparency only works if I save as a 32 bit .tga.

IIRC if you'll save 24bit tga with aplha channel, then the alpha channel will make the additional 8bits making it 32 in total. I think this was the problem with older Paint shop versions which were able to save .tga only as a 24bit.

But i could be (and probably i am) wrong...
