Deadmeat of BAS once said that realistic play gives its own rewards. In this case, however, all I get is a vertical Stryker.

Heheheh, sounds like something I'd say tounge2.gif

Nice pics all, I'm glad people are enjoying the MarPat retex - I know it was the one "addon" I was really looking forward to and I'm glad I could help Hepcat with it. biggrin_o.gif

This is what it currently looks like..

http://www.digitalphotos.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/ARMA/Armap7.jpg

it's a partical effect so no doubt you can edit a config somewhere and make as much spray as you like.

what I do love is the way the sea reacts to the weather conditions.

http://www.digitalphotos.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/ARMA/Armap8.jpg

Great, that sea looks really good - thank god BIS had the sense to implement waves - I hate way the water in other games like Far Cry never changes from calm.

But, these pics still dont answer what I was asking about , my question was not about the particle effects, but the Pixel Shader effect of creating a slip stream wave building up around the front of the boat - ripples...Does that happen?

Cheers

Ian Malcolm's pic... of me. smile_o.gif

Notice how I look like a ghost? When making your own face, you'll have to be sure it's as dark as the original - I increased my file's brightness by 50 percent when I started, and I look as ethereal as anything.

You should take a picture of yourself in real life and post it, for comparison. Either way, the face texturing looks great, really.

Seconded! How can we tell how good it is if we have no RL pic for comparison? Maybe you've got a beard and wear eyeglasses!  biggrin_o.gif

Which version of PhotoShop do you guys use? I was looking at getting hold of one, but I certainly can't afford the Å500 price-tag for the one I saw on Adobe's website... wink_o.gif

Good job on getting your face into ARMA. That's pretty impressive texturing.

Now to give it a try...hmmm...maybe I'll try it in the new year once I develop some skills, who knows father Christmas might give me some 'TALENT' for Christmas...here's hoping! biggrin_o.gif
