Why is everyone so hyped up over this flashnews?

Placebo's already said it isnt ArmA related and neither its gonna be a demo. I dont see anything else which should be of soo interest that everyone here and in the arma forum are just dying for this.

For all we know placebo might just do what he does in the FN , recap the weekly OFP related news and guess what it'll also contain the desperation of this thread , maybe THATS the news .

This is the funniest thread that i've read in ages. I really don't know what people are expecting - it's probably a nice wallpaper or something. Remeber the flashpoint flash games that were released prior to flashpoint?

So since I have no more authority on the subject than anything else, my wildly innacurate predictions in no particular order:

- OFP cwc to go freeware to encourage new players to the genre

- ArmA to become Medieval Flashpoint

- Game 2 to become Rome Flashpoint

- Wedding invites to all except those with warning levels, don't want no trouble like.

I honestly would be happy with a generic BIS wallpaper or another set of (really current) pictures, or some announcement making ArmA more concrete.  I know the surprise is not directly ArmA related.  Truthfully, I believe I'm just interested in the surprise itself.  (marketing ppl sighing 'he got himself hooked'
