Within the last weeks we heard many new informations about the content and gameplay about arma in different czech previews.

What's your opinion today, will the game meet your expectations?

to be honest its been shit and if its because of the[publisher] /[publishers] crap that we have to find a guy

ehm, they even increased it with hiring placebo. I think they are doing very good. The game has no publisher yet, and it's the publisher that do the PR, not BiS. Bis never told much. Bis is surely listening to the fans, so their PR is good.

Whereas I appreciate that this poll is yet another 'time killer' in the wait for ArmA's release, it does have a few flaws!

"Will the game meet your expectations?"  - How can we know that?! We expect the game to be what we've heard it is going to be. If it is what we've heard then - yes! If on the other hand the information is just corrupt hyped selling propaganda then - no!

So do I believe that BIS is telling the truth - yes! Therefore I expect the game to be what they say!

Ofcourse not, there are not enough Arma news capable of fullfiling my news/media expectations .

So i voted wrong , I think Arma will fullfil my expectations because im not expecting a whole new game, just a improved one with new content and features.

Hi all, back after a some mouths of hard work, well I must say Im impressed by the the way things are runing, as Heatseeker said, I too was expecting some kind of refresh of our good old Poseidon Engine to DX9, new campain etc.

When I saw last interviews I was like , they are doing something new here... did I understand well? the new campain is at present scenario?

With all this information I voted "not sure" I want to know more.

BTW, its about time they get a publisher.

in general i believe in BIS but i was very, very disappointed about the "mainstream" sentence. i cannot understand why a million selling game must be focused more in this new way a la bf2.

simulation was the key for this success. and when i see the results of this poll, the community seems to think similar.

Ich voted not sure.

Some things appear to be better than I expected, while I fear that some stuff will be.. poor... Example;

You can't change squad behaviour (danger, aware etc etc) in OfpE, so I fear that such basic features will be left out of ArmA...

Well OFP has all this stuff to please casual gamers too, like 3rd person view, crosshair, extented armor, map markers, hud markers etc... The thing is, they can all be turned off so they won't ruin the game for players that are looking for realism. Hell, even hard core sims like Falcon 4.0 have these options like invulnerability, unlimited fuel and so on.

Im not sure, but either way Im buying it. Ofp has never left my HD since i "borrowed" my freinds copy all those years ago, and if ArmA

is an improved Ofp then Im all for it If some of the things I would like to see in there (better systems/armour model) then I will be totally over the moon, but whats been anounced so far is enough, anything else is a bonus

I simply cannot get, where you guys found out that it was an arcade game? It havent been in any news.

Mainstream doesnt meen that its arcade.

OFP was mainstream as well.... So where did you guys find that?
