feersum.endjinn 6 Posted July 18, 2004 Wouldn't they then be entitled to a fraction of every copy sold? If so, then you lucky f#$%ers. Cap. They wouldnt get a cent out of it because when you make OFP addons, you have to agree that Codemasters and BIS owns the rights to anything connected to OFP....thats how they ripped off all of the cool addons of OFP like BAS and put them into VBS1.....if i was them I would be real mad...... Cut this fucking crap - neither BIS or BIA has ripped anyone off. OFP tinfoil hat folks need to relax, most of addon makers are educated people perfectly cabable of looking after their rights. As far as I know all concerned parties who've contributed to VBS have received compensation for their troubles. DXDLL is free to uses for non-commercial purposes - which includes OFP enthusiasts playing around with VBS and taking screenshots.

starstreams 0 Posted July 18, 2004 First off Nice job Kegetys! this adds a whole new dimension to the game, it looks so killer at night, I’m going to be taking screen shots for the next two weeks. There was one question I had: When I load  OFP it says it wants version 1.92 however when I search the net for this particular version I only find the server update, will the 1.94 beta version be ok to use? I mean I’m using 1.94 now and it seems to be working great, however I still get the message when loading OFP Resistance. By the way, Thanks! It’s nice to see someone breaking the boundaries and reaching new limits. This looks so cool when your out on the water driving the Mark-II during dusk. Nice work! Wouldn't the sane thing be to ask before having a tizzy about it? But yes, I agree it is immensely cool that Bohemia Interactive are now paying some of my favourite addon makers to produce cool stuff for VBS1. I heard tell of a SF2 pack

Glare is probably causing that, try reducing its strength in the configuration program by a lot, and if that doesn't work you should try disabling it... NICO(COE) 0 Posted July 19, 2004 I always get this error "ProxyDLL"  [Postprocessing CreateTexture failed!]Even when I turn off postprocessing.... kinda strange  Help plz I also had a similar Proxy Dll error. I couldn´t find any solution and i was lokking in all forums and getting crazy. At last i found the solution, and i realized that when descompress the zip file i hadnt activated "use folder names". So, when descompress the zip file, be sure that in OFp folder u have a "d3d8.dll" archive and a folder named "dxdll" (this folder must contain 2 foldersmore (screenshots and textures) and 2 archives (configurator.exe and config.cfg). I hope this could be ur solution.
