bonko the sane 2 Posted July 12, 2004 i tried it with status_cz water and i get no reflections, but wahey! it looks better with original water and this very cool gizmo My only problem seems to be at start up GUI...everything goes weird and black, ingame its excellent, i just need to find out a way to decrease the aliasing factor :\ running on a AMD 1700+ and a GF5600FXUltra with latest Nvidia 61.71 beta drivers
Wilco 944 Posted July 12, 2004 Right click on your desktop bonco, the settings, advanced, and your geforce tab. Find the performance area, and turn AA down.

Later, I turned off postprocessing, and I got these results Reflection off: http://img40.exs.cx/my.php?loc=img40ℑ=GCS0024.jpg Reflection on: http://img40.exs.cx/my.php?loc=img40ℑ=GCS0025.jpg Using ATI all-in-wonder 9000 pro
edejl 0 Posted July 12, 2004 Postprocessing CreateTexture Failed! Any help would be great. Thanks! Do you put the folder and the dll in C:\Program Files\Operation Flashpoint?
xezon 0 Posted July 12, 2004 Wow!! That looks really fantasic! First I had some problems, but then I disable Llauma2 water/sky and it works without any problem. I adjusted the glare effect on 0.15. Thats not too much and looks fine. Size is still default. Thanks Kegetys *kiss*
Skewballzz 0 Posted July 12, 2004 anyone know if this will work with my NVIDIA Quadro NVS? Got the same problem as Avon (No post processing) Looks like ATI should throw some cash toward Kegety since hes gonna cause us all to buy some Raedons...
KTottE 0 Posted July 12, 2004 Works very well on Radeon 9800 Pro 256Mb, 4.6 Catalyst drivers. I'm sure this will make OFP a much more enjoyable experience
Pappy Boyington 0 Posted July 12, 2004 i just get a black screen then flashpoint just quits to desktop any help please    ditto Try disabling postporcessing. ok did that works got in game and well ive concluded without post processing nothing else works cept the no gui and the settings features and all that. . but the nvg effect, and glare feature and i dunno bout the reflective water. . .if i give up the best looking water in OFP (status_cz) that means bye bye skys, stars, moon too. . . and im not gonna give up 4 different beautiful features just to see what i look like in the water any chance on making this work with custom water textures? Crowley 0 Posted July 12, 2004 Wow Kegetys, I salute you; this is amazing. Now to upgrade my rig so I can run this. I was going to wait until OFP2 to scrape things together but I may have to jumpstart those plans. Though, I do dearly miss water transparency in OFP compared to other games. kegetys 2 Posted July 12, 2004 Looks like ATI should throw some cash toward Kegety since hes gonna cause us all to buy some Raedons... Dunno about this mysterious Kegety guy, but I have a GF4 Ti4200 and it works well on 1448x1088 resolution.
berghoff 11 Posted July 12, 2004 Very nice work! Got 15fps on a AMD64 3000+ 768MB RAM and a R9800pro Lol, amazing work. The Postprocessing slow down performance alot. Hmm, when I shoot in the sea, dust from ground goes up to the sky Superb addon.
the_shadow 0 Posted July 12, 2004 Only thing i can complain about is.... everything is a helluva lot more blurred then it was before... i have like a "shadow" outlineing all textures making everything blurred or washed out.... if you know what i mean, might take a screen of it later if you dont understand.. does anyone have a simple solution to this? (running on a AMD Athlon 64 2ghz ATI Radeon 9800 SE 128mb Win XP home 512 mb RAM (DDR 3200))

iNeo 0 Posted July 12, 2004 Awesome. But is it just me or does post-processing kill my AA+AF? Same here. And the NV doesn't work if you're using FDF or WGL. Also the llaumax doesn't work. It's a shame. But it's nice anyway. ATi 9800XT

It's a shame. But it's nice anyway. ATi 9800XT Relax guys, it's only version 1.0 Lets give Kegetys time to work in new versions, and maybe, add support for the custom water textures. Well, about the addon, superb work ! But unfortunately, my computer can't handle the effects. I need urgently a new videocard !!!!
hottex 0 Posted July 12, 2004 holy shit... thx kegetys , thats amazing... ah and BIS...forget about OpFl 2....take your time and begin to do OpFl
Grizzlie 0 Posted July 12, 2004 No probs with ECP for me. Greeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeat one Water is wonderfull And i have all blurry too (ATI 9800 pro set for best quality). Maybe it is ATI fault? Seems all guys having problems with blus has ATI.
feersum.endjinn 6 Posted July 12, 2004 You can use any sky texture you want, as long as water textures are from original OFP since DXDLL calculates checksum to recognize water textures when they're loaded and it won't recognize anything but original OFP textures. Same thing goes with NVG textures, it uses NVG noise texture to recognize when NVG is switched on so if ECP/EECP uses custom textures in NVG or has disabled noise altogether, it won't work. I don't know about all these mods that are floating around, too many to test everything but it definitely should work with FDFMod 1.3.
