Badgerboy 0 Posted June 21, 2003 il2= best ww2 combat flight sim, lomac= best modern flight sim  I'll wait until its out before I make that judgement. By the way, are the cockpits clickable, and does it have a proper dynamic campaign?

Postduifje 0 Posted June 21, 2003 Looks really good, I'll keep track for a demo (hopefully) (that is, for Lomac, not Simpsons Road Rage ) -Post
FSPilot 0 Posted June 21, 2003 Simpsons Road rage is pretty fun. I played it on Xbox with a friend of mine back in NJ. Almost a year ago.
Renagade 0 Posted June 21, 2003 this is the first one i could think of off the top off my head, aerowings, a plane game on the dreamcast where the emphasis was on stunt flying like the red arrows( and if i can find some free webspace i have some funny pictures i took of them) the sequel had some dogfighting bits added on.Just a shame most of the review sites have screenshots like they used a cheapo digi cam in front of a tv to get them
FSPilot 0 Posted June 22, 2003 That actually looks pretty nice. But why is the canopy green? I remember playing a flight sim on some really old console a long time ago. Probably the SNES. Forget what it's called but it had a bunch of ultralights and a jetpack.
Tex -USMC- 0 Posted June 22, 2003 That actually looks pretty nice. Look at that terrain- it almost looks as bad as Jane's IAF lol
edc 0 Posted June 22, 2003 At first I thought that pic w/ the F-15C(in lomac several pages back) was real. Looks great!
Badgerboy 0 Posted June 22, 2003 If I'm going to buy it, it has to at least as hardcore as Falcon IV. I'm sick of jet sims that are called 'simulations', as are basically a HUD, some flashy lights, and some nice graphics. I want full engine starts and shutdown, I want a radar with all 12 submodes, I want programmable ICP panels, pushable MFD screens, and every single button and switch illustrated in the cockpit. I want realistic weapon and FCR implementation. Researched DLZ's must be featured, as well as all of the FCR and engagement submodes. So far the only one that has lived up to this is Superpak Falcon IV, and thats still got features to be implemented.
MLF 0 Posted June 22, 2003 i wish i could still play Janes longbow 2 anyways this looks good, prolly a tad to fast for me but ill try out the demo.

IsthatyouJohnWayne 0 Posted June 22, 2003 Ace combat? I remember one and two with the insane payloads (i ask you, who really needs 99 missiles on an F-15?) and survivability (+amusing Japanese faux rock music) I know nothing about Ace Combat 4 but if it bears any relation at all to the previous games then its about as much a realistic sim as say....'Metal Gear Solid' was of covert operations
