Â With as long as they've made us wait, that's the least they can do.OFP is a pretty realistic game(in ground comabat), and we get new addons almost every day. Â Don't want to spend hours learning each type of avionics for each different airplane. Â At least not while I'm at college. Tovarish 0 Posted June 25, 2003 Gonna be tough for me to decide on a ride. been looking forwards to shipborne operations in the Su-33, but due to it being navalized the thrust to weight ratio is somewhat lower than the standard Su-27 and possibly less maneuverable. The MiG-29C is going to be the only plane able to carry the R-77 (It's actually a MiG-29S, but NATO dosen't seem to differentiate between it and the base MiG-29C variant). If I want to fly for the other side, there's the Luftwaffe MiG-29A, but I 'll have to see what effect the 10% reduction in engine power will have. I'm also wary of it's lack of an internal jammer. All these planes have more or less the same avionics and similar radar, so I guess in the end it'll be the one that "feels right" Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Longinius 1 Posted June 25, 2003 I just tested a beta version of the game. I am by no ways a die hard flight-sim gamer but boy, this game looks and feels gooooood. Longinius 1 Posted June 25, 2003 Hard to say, the beta build was far from done. It lacked campaigns, missions and such. You could basically just fly around and test the various airplanes.
