Hello,

 

I need some help for use Flak36 with AI and Ace mod please.

 

I try different way like:

 

doArtilleryFire

commandArtilleryFire

action ["useWeapon",_gunname,gunner _gunname,1];

 

Its probably like Mortar MK6, you need this type of command for worked arty : this setVariable ['ace_mk6mortar_exclude',true];

 

But its doesn't work. (It's work properly without Ace Mod)

 

Maybe someone have the good way. Thank you :)

 

Last thing, the ammo are: "fow_30Rnd_88mm_HE" or "fow_30Rnd_88mm_HE"

 

(Sorry for my bad english, i am french)

Since you mentioned that the whistle is work in progress in the last patch notes we decided to test it a bit on our server.

 

We found that it's too quiet. You can hear it from pretty far away (way further than TFAR yelling) but the problem is that it's too quiet. In a firefight you are definitely not going to hear it unless you are really close to the whistle. Add to that ACE earplugs and it becomes even harder. 

 

So a little volume boost would be nice :)

try this, works to have it firing like a AA gun

Place Game Logic down, name GL
Place Invis Helipad in sky, name t1
Put AA Down and enter this in init field of gunner:

null=this spawn {_this dotarget t1 ;sleep 2;while {alive t1 and alive _this} do {sleep 0.3; gl action ["useweapon",vehicle _this,_this,0]; }}; this doWatch t1;

But it doesn't work. I understand now, its work like cannon and AA. Not like arty.

 

I try few way but falk36 don't want to shoot with Ace mod actived.

The 88 isn't an artillery piece, its an anti aircraft gun that was also used in a direct fire role as an anti tank gun

 

Its possible the weapon hasn't been set up for indirect fire

Well, first of all, Flak 36 is still WIP asset. There is yet to see how will it work in its final form. For now you can use it as an AT or just for ambient sake (AA) with scripts.

I am pretty sure in the future you will change the holding animation but will the player grip the weapon from the magazine or the below the barrel?

Hello

I am looking for the ammo for the Vickers. I believe it to be this "fow_250Rnd_vickers". However when I add it to a crate, nothing appears. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
