New updated 1.1 - this is what i was talking about! Best mod for 1.56 ever! Only bug i found is rain, sound is muting, then getting back, and overally is mufled. Bu rain is the only bugged sound i found so far.

So with the patch download do we just add the pbo's to DF?Overwrite the old ones?

A quick question. Do I need to run a copy of this on my dedicated server in multiplayer or it strictly just a client side mod?

LJ Thanks for building destruction sound in 1.1 update.  Now it looks much better!  

However, the bugs that I reported before has nor been fixed.

 

 

LJ thanks for the new release.
I noticed that currently missed sounds at shooting with sound supressors for hand Heavy Machine Guns (Marksmen weapons)

 

 

These two machine guns have no sound when firing with a sound supressors. They continue to sound like no has supressor.

Open the Arsenal and check it out.

- Sound of Automatic grenade launcher explosion in RHS mod, mounted on Tiger are played very quiet in 1p camera
- Armor hit is very (too!) loud in external camera.

- Incoming sounds of mortars

- Helicopter clipping issues

- Gau cannon too quiet

- Outgoing mortar incoming sound fix

- Rain sounds muting to fast

- Missing reloading sound of Mk20C

 

These are the general problems but there will be more content along the update.

The explosions when you are inside a vehicle are controlled by an attenuation filter that I have no control over. I mean I could but I don't wanted to mess with the deep functions of the game (yet).

 

The armor hit, I don't exactly know what you mean. Explosions of shells?

Will there be lighting and thunder sounds in storms? I know there was in A2 is it still possible in A3 to do the same?

I mean the sound when some armored vehicle get hit and you are next to it (around to 200M) - its veeery loud. As i sayed it disabled one of my speaker, which survived heavy metal on max volume, so there is something in it :)

Loaded with no mods but yours.  Put an AH-9 in Stratis, fired it up, and still get no interior sound after startup.   :(

Aha!  I will wait for the release then.  Awesome.

It's strange-I have perfect sound using the AH-9. But it must be an issue if LJ is changing it-I wonder why it is ok for me..

Switch cameras several times, start and stop the engine as well. External view - Shut off - Internal view - Start - No Sound after a couple of seconds.

I noticed yesterday strange issue - no sounds of battle at 1.5 km almost at all, or too quiet. I played this mission with RHS :
MIssion

After support will came, and you will be 1.5km away (after emergency landing) you will not hear fights at all.

LJ is one of the most dedicated modders left in Arma.. He back up his work with action instead of promising without delivering..
Unfortunately only few left and getting fewer by every day.
