Thanks a lot da12thMonkey for that valuable input. Yeah,  from reading and searching images on the net, there seem to be so many variations over different time periods, some with notably more top armor than others,  extra grilles etc  but the one seen in the photo evrik put up would be ideal, and if it can be used as a reference, then that certainly would be the best choice. Many thanks again for considering this.

Tip of the hat! That's awesome work. That's the vehicle all right.   So much looking forward to having this vehicle in missions like many mission makers will.  With this and the army Snatch , it now creates the opportunity to make good missions  with much more immersion,  very specific to the NI conflict.   Again, many thanks to you guys for this and for this great mod. Much appreciated.

chaps, I downloaded the version 8 from google drive. the panther appears only under nato vehicles - suspect its renamed the other persons version you based it on - and the panama I can't find at all -  I've tried removing and recreating the folder - the readme clearly states version 8... any ideas ?

 

should add I can see the panther pbo in the dir as well.

 

Ok found the panama under nato drones... I assume the panther isn't supposed to be listed under cars with your baf-3cb vehicles ?

  Objects > NATO > Cars > Panther CLV GPMG (Green/Sand)

 

If you also run our 3CB BAF Units mod (version 4.6) you will see the Panther in multiple BAF factions crewed by appropriately clothed British soldiers:

  Objects > BAF-3CB, xxxxxx > Cars > Panther CLV GPMG (Green/Sand)

 

The Panther CLV class names we have used are unique to 3CB and do not overwrite any other mod.

 

Panama ROV:

  Objects > NATO > Drones > Land Rover Panama ROV (Green/Sand)

Thank you for your cool mod, sir! Also will we see in the future such a very necessary for ARMA 3 legendary British vehicles like FV 101 Scorpion, FV 107 Scimitar and finally wonderful CHIEFTAIN tanks? Thanks in advance for the answers and good luck in your cool work!

The only one of those that you are ever likely to see is the scimitar because it’s the only one at present we have a model for. Additionally other vics are taking priority at present. Those being some of our current ones that need urgent armour upgrades to increase survivability and some new ones.

Are you just retexturing the snatch or are you doing a stand alone Tangi? 

 

 

If you are doing a  Tangi  it doesn't have a hatch for top cover but it does have windows on the side and rear that can be opened and fired from. They also don't carry a spare tire.

It's just a re-texture of Snatch I'm afraid.

That's the reason we didn't do a battleship grey version initially, as we weren't modelling a proper Tangi as you and da12th have correctly pointed out the differences.

However, given the request and as the re-texture was only a few hours work, it seemed worth doing.

Ok, so my mod list is as follows. 3CB Weapons, Vehicles, and Equipment. Marine Expeditionary Force, KA Weapons Pack, Complementary Special Weapons, Enhanced Movement, FHQ Accessories, Project OPFOR, Specialist Military Arms, RHSUSAF, RHSSAF, RHSAFRF, CUP Weapons, CUP Units, CUP Vehicles, VSM ALL-IN-ONE, NIArms All in One, Military Gear Pack, Extended Base Mod, CBA, NAPF, CUP Terrains Core, and Exile.

 

The problem that is occurring is with the UK3CB Vehicles and nothing else. The Apache works great, the Bull dog works. Then you get into the boat, the merlin, the jackals, the coyotes, and the land rovers. There is no ammo in the guns, i try to cycle through the fire modes, i configured the safety in the 3CB configs, i spawned an ammo truck next to it. nothing works. i was told to post here so hopefully someone is able to help. thanks.

You likely have a conflict with another mod. Try running just our mods, plus CBA and see if you still get the issue. If yes, then we'll take a closer look. If you don't get the problem with just that reduced mod set, try adding in a mod at a time until something breaks again. We can then take a look at your feedback and see if there is anything we can do. As we regularly use ACE3, Project Opfor, RHS, CUP Terrains, and Enhanced Movement, I am going to go out on a limb and say it likely isn't those (unless we just haven't noticed it yet after the update).

 

 

EDIT: Just tried our release candidate builds + cba and I have no issues. Merlins, ORC, Jackal etc... work fine. All guns have ammo once taken off safety by selecting the next fire mode. It appears to be either a mod conflict or an issue with your download perhaps? All of those vehicles use our vehicle weapons, so it might be an idea to redownload the Vehicle pack again in case it is corrupt somehow.

I get an error, it's this =

 

No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgVehicles/UK3CB_BAF_Apache_AH1.side'.

 

I only have CBA_A3 and 3CB Mods. 

What is the problem?

No immediate plans for this. Currently the ORC can be loaded onto the boat rack and under-slung from a helicopter.

Multiple variants: Fuel, Container, Flatbed, Repair and Transport

Two camouflage schemes: European and desert

Loadable/unloadable containers

Custom ACE compatible containers: Resupply, air servicing, ground servicing and logistics

Supports TFAR and ACRE radios/intercoms


To unload a container, first check for sufficient clearance behind the vehicle, either visually or by using the “ghost” container.  Then use either ACE interaction or the vanilla context menu to start the unload process. These options are only available from outside the vehicle and require the vehicle to be stationary.  Once the container has successfully unloaded, the vehicle is free to drive away.

 

To load a container, first position the vehicle such that the empty flatbed is aligned with and close to the container.  Then use either ACE interaction or the vanilla context menu to start the load process. Again, these options are only available from outside the vehicle and require the vehicle to be stationary.

 

Unloaded containers can be slingloaded under a suitable helicopter e.g. Merlin

 

Warning: standing beneath an unloading container is dangerous

Note the smaller containers can only be loaded onto the HX60’s and the larger containers onto the HX58’s.

Can i add the logistik modul to container only so if if drop in  a forrest or dessert i have the logistik point there?

You can do that, or you can use the logistics container to do the same thing. :)
