Fantastic map, played it for 3 hours. I wish the map would be a little bigger (not Alits Size, but bigger than now)

Anyway, a great map :)

This is a really well-done bit of terrain!

My only piece of advice, if you're keen for an update, would be to try and obliterate the flat trees from the open areas of the sat map. A bit of spot healing tool in Photoshop would be ideal. It's not an issue in forested areas, but it would give the open parts of the map a less spotty appearance from a distance.

Example:

Played with this for the last few hours....Very nice map :)

A lot of effort went into this, this is seen in the details. The rows of olive trees certainly invokes the Turkish region so nicely done. Looked at the 'real' island, you stayed pretty true to the original.

Best of all, this is one tiny file size, easy to have in a mod pack. Perfect for all sorts of assaults.

Thank you for you efforts!

Mustangdelta said pretty much everything I was going to say, so I'll just add: What a great surprise! At first I figured this for a WIP topic, but quickly realized my error. Explored for a solid hour earlier tonight, and really appreciate the attention to detail as well as your restraint where object placement is concerned. All in all, a very 'believable' terrain.

Awesome work, scenarios played out on a smaller terrain are more intense in my opinion. Thanks for putting this out there.

Thanks for your feedback.

I'm going to add some elements of detail to the next version.

@CameronMcDonald: I still have to improve the forests. There is also too close to the trees together.

Some bushes in the forests could be good in order to bring some variety.

Dear sir, as the only active Turkish member (sadly AFAIK) in the community, I want to thank you for the rest of my people :P. I always wanted to make a Turkish island of my own, since we can use all the A3 Aegean terrain stuff, and with the time and place settings it only makes sense to put the Turks in.

I already downloaded it, and hopefully I can keep my interest in making a mission for it.

By the way, if you (or anyone) needs ANY island "field expeditioning" feel free to ask me anytime, giving me more reasons to go around the islands (both Greek and TR) next summer!

EDIT: Also the ironic thing here is that the islands name is actually spelled "İmralı", opposite of how any European/ American can spell it. We have both capital and small versions of the letter "i" in our language. Goes like: I ı İ i.

Cool map.

I think there may be some lighting issues, lights are very bright at night. It could be me, so can someone confirm this?

Looked fine to me.

What are your lightning and shadow settings? I can try with the same.
