Actually the G28 is a semi automatic only rifle based on the civilian MR308 A3, not the military HK417A5.

Agree with the SMA take on G28, but it actually uses 10rnd mags.

Or at least 20" HK417

Appreciate the mod. Weapons look great, but I do have one question;

 

Why do these NATO weapons have green tracers for the reload? I'm kinda confused by this.

NAS, yeah, thanks for mentioning that- I have noticed that as well, it's strange- should be red or yellow for the NATO weapons.

Will we see more standard m4a1s(ones without rail covers)? And any idea on the reticle going to be used on the ACOG and what model/models? If i can chime in any input from experience I love the Primary Arms ACSS reticle. 10/10

Hi everybody. Just wanted to stop by and say thanks for the great mot. I've been following it from Version 2.3 onward to this point and we're even using it as our standard weapon modification in our Unit. Hope to see some great ongoing work from you guys. ^^

Additionally I want to warm something up that came up in January this year. I want to chime in with #693 and ask if it might be possible to add compatibility to the HuntIR grenades for the grenade launchers. I know this might create a dependency on ACE but if you'd concider to add it in an ACE Compat patch, that would be great. : 3

Compatibility would be achieved without any extra add-ons by SMA team by having launcher inherit from UGL and not specifying any magazines[] for it. Just a suggestion.

Does anybody know how to edit tracer colors for this mod?

 

I'm not trying to be picky, but it just seems utterly ridiculous firing these beautiful NATO weapons and watching green tracers fly out of them.

It doesn't look like the content creators are willing or care to fix this issue, and I don't want to have to keep asking for what should be a very easy fix.

You do realise that Green Tracer is also quite common in todays NATO weapons?

Your comments are very disingenuous to the addon makers into the bargain.

Okay-I have cleaned up several posts here.

 

@NAS_Juno and @RoadRunner : There is no need to ask about a mod change more than once.If it is something the addon creator thinks is an issue, they will deal with it-if not, it is their mod and they will keep it how they like it.

 

 You have both made your points, let's leave it up to the SMA team to decide if this is something that they feel is relevant to their work :)

i just want the missing SMA_ANPEQ15   fixed...i got 50 custom missions sitting here............................. collecting dust... before someone says yea but.... i made custom load outs for opfor, both gear and clothing.

in all of the updates I never had a laser missing. missions and loadouts worked fine for me. maybe try to "repair" arma through steam. I've noticed that that helps with some issues sometimes

thanks but it is an issue, i looked it up on the steam boards. ive tried EVERYTHING. still doesnt work.

I ended up just merging the old mission into an new blank one. It transfers everything but what is missing. So your units should bee in there, just without the laser.

As I said on the steam comments for this mod; its a little bit of a PITA but it works without having to chase code through your loadout .txt or .sqf files...revert back to the old version of SMA and load your mission and loadouts. Then remove the offending item and save your stuff. Then load the newest version of SMA and then you can add it back into the missions and loadouts. The update they pushed should have fixed it but just in case it doesn't for you then this is a sure fire way to fix the mission and loadouts. As I said yes its a PITA but it works.

I really like the mod, but I would like to ask for a review, if it is possible, Scar-H does not seem to have as much recoil as it has in the mod, if it is possible to review the impact power of the 7.62X51 and add other types of ammunition, cool.
