I got an error as well, but related to the minimi mk3- I just manually took all the PBOs apart from the Minimi and it worked fine- Really like the new HK416's, the new models are really nice, Elcan is cool as well, but the color tones are a weird- none of the tan or OD weapons are a similar tone, is that just a realism thing with the Elcan tone?

That usually occurs when you try to unpack a file that was not downloaded fully.Did your download cut off or anything?

 

No, DL was fine.  There were other errors as well, so I'll wait to post them and try downloading again later to rule out some kind of error on my part.

Is it all working for everyone or are people still getting errors trying to download ?

Everything seems fine on my end we tested multiple times before release.

 

If people are getting errors after download i would recommend re download to make sure it is not corrupt.

I only issue for me is that it says the server is unavailable, which I'm assuming if due to download traffic.

For me it gets to about 20% then drops......no biggie, all the time in the world to get it :P

 

As soon as I get around the 200MB mark the download crashes, I can't use a download manager as there's no resume capability for the download.

Will keep trying, it will download eventually :D

I try everything and the download can't finish so i'm guessing that the ftp reset the connection everytime ....

Hey guys

 

The page has been getting smashed with traffic and this is most probably the cause of some peoples issues they are having , we are currently setting up a mirror download to help with this and some back end stuff to try help.

Please be patient.

 

 

 

Ok we had some issues with our download manager, it should be fixed now.

FINAL EDIT: Downloaded mirror 1

Started the game  with  SMA Weapons,MRT Accesories,CBA (latest version)

When starting the game

1st error  Scar_Arma3 requires SMA_Weapons

Game starts i get to arsenal

Chose any weapon form modpack

No entry bin\config.bin/CfgWeapons/SMA_ACRREM_BASE/Single.displayName

Weapons sounds bugged,cant add any attachments to weapons etc.

I will be redownloading other mirror to check.

So, I can't speak for the corrupt downloads people may be experiencing, but I just wanted to say that i downloaded this a few hours ago and everything works perfectly-no errors at all for.

 

Love the new sounds and the HK416's are awesome. I ran it with JSRS running as well and I noticed that the suppressed weapons have no echo at all.Is that deliberate or a side effect of JSRS running?

^^^ Looks like multiple addons using same CfgPatches class name

 

Also these:

13:48:03 Updating base class ->asdg_OpticRail, by SMA_EOTECH_33\config.bin/asdg_OpticRail1913/
13:48:04 Updating base class asdg_SlotInfo->, by SMA_HK417\config.bin/asdg_FrontSideRail/

^^^ To fix these usually you just need to add "cba_jr" to the requiredAddons in the respective addon CfgPatches. Ensures CBA JR is loaded first so the classes from it are actually there when referenced.

@DJankovic: Sounds like you're missing the sma_weapons.pbo somehow.

 

@Robalo: Thanks for the report. Do you know if this is actually going to cause any issues or just log spam? (do you think it warrants a hotfix?). We haven't noticed any side effects (and sorta got so used to similar crap in the logs that we ignored/missed it).

Just wanted to report that I downloaded 2.7 from the new website (not the mirror), and it took all of 2 minutes, and I'm in game playing with no errors. The new textures and variants are awesome, and the optics look damn near real. The only thing I think I can find to moan about, is I'm not sold on the new outdoor suppressor sounds. They seem like a step backwards in the realism department.

 

I myself own x2 Surefire suppressors and one from ACC, and I assure you, they're anything but quiet. You can run them without ear pro, but barely. Especially if you're around things that generate reverb. If you're out in the open, you can still hear it crack from a quarter mile away, even more so if we're talking about 7.62 and up. So far I've only tried the MK18 and HK417 suppressed, and they sound like what I would imagine shooting a suppressed rifle underwater would sound like. :(

 

v2.6's suppressor sounds were the most realistic I had heard in any weapon pack, I'm sad to see 'em go.
