3p0x1 74 Posted September 22, 2014 If you want to make SOF you can probably just throw a boonies and some chest rig on the rhs us units in arsenal...That leads me to a question, are the "body models" of your clothes arma 2 shaped and only fit your vests? Like it would be really sad if vests from say, russian units would be half clipped through arma 3 vanilla units because of some model thing.. Also I hope I can use vanilla vests with rhs uniforms.. From pics I've been seeing, creating an SOF class of units for the mod would require more than just some boonies. A lot of russian operators are favoring multicam and heavily accessorized and painted AKs. Can't lie though, it'd be damn sexy to see down the road Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

We already have an outstanding modding community, but y'all have really shown the pinnacle of what this community can acheive. AFoRF addon by RHS is going to be realesed in october(day?week?hour?). Doing all that FFV stuff takes a lot of time, so we will have to wait untill the next update... It seems that the coding part shouldn't be a problem, but the animation one. Anyway, I guess RHS will use vanilla retextured Kamaz, HEMTT, assault boat and AH6... so they have it already ( if not a retexture can always be faster than setting animations and would add the feature ). About the rotorlib and sling load settings, probably can be copy&paste almost entirely from the vanilla, as their values are based on the real ones ( Ghosthawk = UH60, XH-9 = XH-6, Kajman = Hind, etc.; Mi8 could use the Mohawk, as the values would be similar ). Anyway do not forget that shooting from a bench and through a BMP port are fundamentally different things (ball joint clamp). In anycase we have so many things to prep for the release its not even funny. If I think just about how much documentation has to be written I want to cry at night. At the same time I am a little apprehensive about delivering the same amount of polish as everyone is used to with RHS. The October release will effectively be the public alpha test. We did not have time to effectively roll this out for large scale private testing like we'd hoped. Yeah I can understand, it remembers me of how I felt the last weeks of my university projects ( the abuse of redbulls to keep going didn't helped either ). In any case, even if you can't add anything, we can always mix some of the more "neutral" vanilla assets to take advantage of that features. We ( at least I ) are grateful with whatever you can add.
