Going by the pic I'd say I prefer 0.1 but then you'll never please everybody.

Picolly, thank you for bringing this great addon to Arma 2 (Chernarus) and now to Arma 3.

I would never play on Chernarus if I didn't have your addon. So thank you very much sir !!

I think I'll finish up this evening. Is damn much work.

I have problems to create the key. If someone could take that would be very helpful.

Creating the key and signing the file is not that difficult and described here:

http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Armed_Assault:_Addon_Signatures

1) Create a new folder on your drive, e.g. c:\keys

2) Copy the dscreatekey.exe and dssignfile.exe into that folder

3) Open a command prompt window: Start->Run->cmd

4) Navigate to the created folder: cd c:\keys

5) Now create your private key: dscreatekey picolly - this creates 2 files : picolly.bikey (your public key to share) and picolly.biprivatekey (your private key you need for signing the files)

6) Next copy your created addon into the above folder and then sign it with your privatekey : dssignfile picolly.biprivatekey nameofyour.pbo

Done.

If you still have problems feel free to contact me.

Thanks for the update. But i noticed something odd.

Have you somehow change the brightness/gamma settings?

A3A seems a bit brighter on my comparison screenshots (v0.1, v0.7, original).

Just installed. The screenshots don't even do it justice. Evens out so many of those ugly fake shadows on the terrain too!!!

Now if only they would implement Nordkindchen's midrange rendering solution and Elcoo's grass at range solution this game would look perfect.

Way better than your first attempt!

But still - the details in the distance go missing=(

Since you are so eager as me to get rid of the blurry midrange textures - I am sure you will be interested in my thoughts about a solution for this.

Even two BI employes one of wich is a developer allready commented on this!

And the community tracker entrance just reached the first page of the voting page!

Here it is

Best regards and thanks for your effort!

I work on it.

I give up. I do not know why but I can not generate a key.

You can ask Sickboy to create a key and sign it (for the PwS network) and re-release yourself here with the sign file and key attached.

may i ask how you are doing this? are you applying a filter and colour correction setup on each little tile or are you putting them all together and then editing it by hand? if the latter is the case it would be nice to have a version that exclusively removes shadows from the satmap. this would make the effect less extreme and improve the visuals a lot i think. might be too much work though.

I put all the photos into a Great picture together and then let it run different filters. The rest of the details I painted by hand.
