Yo, my latest post in photography is listed as "hidden" and my name, post count rank, etc are pink. Was the photography thread changed to approve only? If so, what was the reason?

I dont think it has I never got a notification to approve your post. It said it was hidden but there was no reason listed so I dont think any of us hid it on purpose. Maybe bug?

This happened to me in another thread about a month ago. Within a day it was fixed (not sure whether by a moderator or not) and haven’t had any issues since.

Oh well, it's up now. Took me twice as long as I expected to shoot it due to poses not working like I wanted them to, but I got something decent. Now to figure out how the hell I'm going to do the next one and coax the AI into doing what I want it to. I think I'll just preshoot the one after just because it's easier lol XD

@haleks regarding your photos 3rd Kind Encounters I noticed you said no addons. did you add the spaceship in with photoshop?

If you take a good look at the second screen, you'll see that the spaceship actually consists of 8 "USS Freedom" sticked together. ;)

@Kofeina101 Those are not RHS helicopters, are they? They look a lot like Yura Petrov's Black Hawks from Arma 2, which have been ported to Arma 3 without his permission. I'd love to be proven wrong, though.

Its one of my old nonsteam mods, didn't know that he didn't agree to port them, to be honest i didn't even know that it was his mod aka @some60s . Thanks for info, i will delete it then.

First , 

 

i would like to mention , the existance , of this front page post of this thread , as it is a thread for general discussion ,

of the Arma 3 Photography thread  and there are people ,  who react in the Photography  thread ,

with  " confused "  ,

but i don't see any of their confusions , posted here.

So ,  a person who is confused  , should also discuss about it , to get a answer for his own " confusion " .

 

furthermore ,

 

for sure , the  " confused "  reaction , is not a " Dislike "  button ,

if anyone , missed the meaning of this word.

 

For anyone who is confused about the content that i post , i will be glad to solve his questions.

From my own observations some of content you have posted to the thread, hasn't been true Arma3 Photography. Not all of them have portrayed a scene, some of them have only been used to advertise your addon. Such as this one: 

 

Hence why some members of the forum may have used the confused option.

my pictures have no addons. Do I have to explicitly say that or can I just post a picture with no text?

That way everyone is clear what is been used.
