mmmmmmm isn't written in stone, maybe in a future DLC, this game is very complicated and the asset has to testing a lot, before to insert it in game. I prefer more polished game than a lot of assets like in arma that no one finished. Example the animations of GL rilfe , the launchers in general , bolt rifle and medic

You just quoted they're putting in two more aircraft after release... and one of the Devs (Dwarden?) said they were looking at subsonic. So, I'd say the chances are about 99.99% in a patch (not DLC). Not the EF2000 though, that's primarily Air Defence and really has no role to play in the Armaverse.

Well, technically the it'll be 4. Livestream showcase seemed to show some tanks with extra armour around the turrets.

Really wish they'd stop trying to make Steam Workshop "a thing". We get it, it's cutesy, you love it. We don't need it. :) Instead of focusing on that get us more content please. I'd gladly give up Steam Workshop for weapon resting or a transport plane.

... it will affect everyone who downloads missions ...

there are things you don't see, w/o basic framework implementation, you can't do these additional steps for advanced usage

Steam workshop requires bugger all (compared to the rest of development) work on Bohemias part, it's an API. New vehicles are made by config wizards and artists, 2 groups of people who have zero input on steam workshop integration.

And it's convenient as hell, I don't get the hate against it.

Yes and no, it's a matter of priority and payroll.

Ehhh... I believe at least one dev has said that it's an industry-wide thing now to look at "what can we achieve by this date and what has to be left for later" and I already see parallels to it in how UAVs are currently dev branch only because they just barely missed the deadline for the final pre-launch stable branch patch.

Priority and payroll, as ProfTournesol said, and the powers-that-be decided that "basic framework implementation" (quoting Dwarden) has to happen...

I read up on those links and I have to say if the Workshop is to download not only missions but for mod packs to a client from a re-directed site, then I am all for this - full steam ahead. Heck, I was once a UT Server admin (for a old UT MOD called Infiltration) and "http server re-direct with compressed files" was a such a time saver and ease of use for game clients.
