I have the Combined Operations box-set (not the Steam version) with 2 DVDs etc. (The only maybe 'unusual' thing being I installed A2OA long BEFORE A2) They are both installed into the Bohemia Interactive folder.)

Since you say you first installed A2:OA and only later installed A2, I suspect you have two separate installations, one with ArmA 2 and one with ArmA 2: Operation Arrowhead. This is why you're getting the errors you're seeing.

Suggestion: make a backup of all the mods you already have installed. Then uninstall both OA and A2 and make sure they are completely gone from your harddrive.

Then, reinstall the two games. First install ArmA 2. By default will end up in a folder named "Arma 2". Run ArmA 2 once. Then, install Operation Arrowhead into the *same* folder as ArmA 2. It should *not* end up in, say, a folder named "ArmA 2 Operation Arrowhead".

Finally, patch the whole thing up, first using the 1.59 OA patch and then the ArmA 2 1.10 patch which came out a bit after 1.59.

Tada - now you have a proper ArmA 2: Combined Operations installation. Then, you can install @CBA and @I44CO again and launch I44 via a shortcut similar to

"C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\arma2oa.exe" -nosplash -mod=@CBA;@I44CO

As our tenth anniversary rolls by, we would like to thank everyone who has supported our work over the past decade.

We've had the privilege of being on this months PC Gamer UK cover-disc. :)

Ok I switched to Six Updater and SP_Scharfsch is working but when I start to play SP_D+1 an error pops up saying something about a script on fog (dont remember it ill find out later) and when I start playing all I see is white. I dont even see my squad mates its just a white screen with a HUD.

Any help? Still doesnt work.

It's broken. I opened it up in the editor, it's got a set-aperture script, as well as some other script calls, left over from the Op Tarbrush mission. They're designed to help make a night mission more atmospheric, but at daytime, it makes everything super-white.

I'll take another look tomorrow if you need help doing that, I might have time to fix it up a little bit and put it on mediafire or something.

Err "nacht"

But bring it on all the same!!

I can't believe that anyone overlooked this small but vital effect.

Particularly as its so authentic (watch period footage and you'll see most soldiers regularly puffing fags)

Here's a small peak at a new feature Macolik added to some of our sniper rifles. Rather than seeing a flat scope, the actual modeled scope is used by the player for a more realistic sniping experience.

Some foxholes and trenches will be nice.

For a defend mission like Bastogne.

Locking forword for the next patch

Can't wait to freeze my ass as 101st Airborne sitting in a foxhole and waiting for 5th Panzerarmy. :D Those US troops look good and not well equipped like in Battle of the Bulge.

OMG! HOW DID YOU DO THAT SCOPE?!

Or does the whole screen zoom?

Anyways, ADGSDHFHAJDFAVDYSAFDTAWESOME!

Every scoped weapon should have that.
