BI Developer's Blog: An interesting new entry

Recommended Posts

The scrambled text at the bottom seems to be a YouTube video code. Those are 11 characters long, and from what I can tell so far, the word at the bottom is something like:

FoXr9nmEPIC

Although the last four characters ("EPIC") aren't very clear, so they may be different. The E could be an F, the P could be an R or B, etc. Trying combos right now.

Found a few words in the file that make "sense":

SEATTLE

FOCUS

SHARPER

LOOKUP

Tried to remove them but that didn't do much unfortunately, picture stays corrupted.

What's with the "Unfortunate.ly" on Facebook ? Just a typo ? Or a hint ?

Probably a reference that whatever text is at the bottom of the pic, it's a bit.ly/ow.ly link ID.

maybe were talking about Michael J. Fox, who did the back in the future film http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_J._Fox

which would coresspond to the URL of the previous pictures somehow

xxxxxxdevelopers-blog/215-taking-on-the-future

oh and do you know if the 215 means sth?

(remember the password 313)

That's about as good as I can get it in Gimp. Looks like it could be FoXr9nmFPIO, which unfortunately isn't a valid YouTube ID, just like a lot of variations. The "unfortunate.ly" thing must be a hint toward a URL shortener.

Yeah, that's what I thought too (see last page). But that E seems to actually be an F.

Interesting find there. Could be a coincidence of course, especially since they did hint at a video and not an image, but the fact that it's a sat map does seem fitting.

A TinEye search didn't find any similar pictures by the way.
