Dosen't seem to work, all I get is a black screen and I was forced to shut down ARMA 2 manually, got some weird error.

EDIT: Error name is

"Config: "names" array does not have 3 entries

Raserrik I got the same you can either push the ESC button and if it doesnt work then alt+tab to move back to desktop and then back to game again.

It will work. Im getting the blackscreen as well but this solution works for me.

ins't it a problem with your driver or graphic card ? i'm not a tech specialist but a lot of problem like this one came from the drivers of the graphic card, try and see if it's not working well i can't help you

I update the video drivers , and nothing , i don't have this problem on chernarus , sbrodj and any other map.

Same config error here, running ACE addons. All other maps and addons run perfectly any other way except when I plug in this Map and its needed addon as part of the command line. Says config missing 3 entries. Any idea's... the screens look beautiful and I am really looking forward to putting this to the test.

Update - after letting it sit for a moment when saying ok to the config error, I get into the game and was able to load up the map in the editor. When previewed, the map terrain is blue and nothing is loading with it. Hope this helps...

good work but some bugs:

alot of large custom buildings have parts that can be walked through

of course there is the WIP textures

there is the black screen at startup (press enter to fix)

a few "cannot load"'s

some shadow problems

Dunno why but whenever I try to load OA with Taviana island loaded the game doesn't start. It stops loading after a "bad sounding beep".

Shame, :mad: because the screenshots show that this is a good looking island!!!

This addon requires Arma 2 or Arma 2: Combined Operations, there is no difference in terms of functionality.

THIS ADDON IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH STANDALONE ARMA 2: OPERATION ARROWHEAD!

Martin wanted to push the release of alpha so you guys can test it. Try to be constructive and mark bugs for him in a good description, that's what he'll work with when he gets back from Spanish vacation.

Spent that past few hours exploring Taviana and it's capital. This is simply mind-boggling with all the custom buildings, realistic layout, subterranean features, etc, etc, etc! BIS, please put this man to work!

Biggest issue I've noticed (aside from the obvious alpha-stage collision detection issues), is all the blue hand-rails next to roads in the capital. They look GREAT and add so much to the atmosphere, but you can't climb over them, causing you to go WAY out of your way to simply cross the street, sometimes forcing you to double back and go all the way around the block. Where-as in real life you could hop them easily. Maybe make them shorter... for gameplay purposes? (Ideally, we'd create a special animation for climbing over something a bit higher like that.)

Oh yeah, found the dead guy with the severed head laying on the gurney in the bathroom. Nice! :D

Just a quick question, is the AI able to use the new buildings? :)

Downloading now, cant wait to try it out. Too many new maps dont use new buildings which makes them all look the same and very boring to me, so i am very intrigued by this one ^^

Screenshots of the capitol make it look like the IDEAL place for a zombie mission.

No not from what I've seen since this is an Alpha build most of the buildings with interiors aren't solid and can be walked straight through them. However Taviana already boasts the BEST city in ARMA 2 and this is only at Alpha stage and yes is amazing for zombie missions :)
