rowdied 44 Posted August 11, 2013 Love the new added features. I have used this tool ever since you rolled it out but I do have one question for you. Can you make it so it will recognize ifa as well as pbo structures for mission files? The server tool works to start the server but will hang up waiting for host as it does not recognize the ifa mission file. I would like to use this for Iron Front as well since I have just gotten back into the game so if it is at all possible to do it would be greatly appreciated. thanks Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Additionally, i think i might've found a bug that i am not sure how to deal with: I cant select any difficulty other than Regular (it selects - but after saving or launching, it resets back to regular). I tried the solution posted from earlier versions (Re-creating the .profile) - but it seems to not matter, and the .profile is re-created as it was on the initial run. Might anyone have seen this? Not sure why the game resets the difficulty. But it shouldn't have anything to do with TADST. I think they might have disabled it in the BETA. TADST will write the difficulty to your config file (you only change he settings for the difficulties under the Difficulty Settings tab, the actual difficulty is chosen under Missions.) When the server is launched TADST will not do anything else and the config files are correct. But the files are always overwritten by the server and if BIS has disabled some settings the game will overwrite them. At least I think this is what's happening. Im dabbling with headless client and just realized there's no option for this - it may be beneficial to have that field present, but not required. localClient[]={127.0.0.1}; // 127.0.0.1 is where the empty field would be that can be filled in by the user and its simply written to the TADST_config.cfg file! A field for the server to recognize the local port. As in the HC setup guide(s). The parameters you posted are for the HC to connect to the server. MATR1X 9 Posted September 14, 2013 Yes when you save it will always reset to Regular, if you use Veteran or some other settings you could just adjust the regular settings to be the same as Veteran etc and they will default when you save.
