  1. Hey, I have seen this tutorial by Jerry Hopper Arma Reforger Cinematic Timeline howto . He is saving the whole map into the modfolder to make Eden editable, but in my version the "Save world as" button is greyed out. Does anyone know a workaround? It would be just awesome to get the possibility to delete objects and changing the terrain for so many mod ideas. I don't know why BI is restricting that. Same with the texture files. Modded weapons, cars and everything else could look like it would fit perfectly in the game. Have a nice day Mittens

[GM] Cold War - Nogovan Armed Forces Some members of the community may have seen I have been posting images of a new mod I've been working on my twitter account and over on the Arma Cold Warriors Discord. Anyway I thought I would formally announce it on these forums. After a break of a few years, due to other commitments I am now back making some content for Arma3. I am in the process of using GM assets and uniforms to make some Cold War Era Nogovan Armed Forces. This carries on my Nogovan Armed Forces made for OFP, Arma2 and Arma3. Also I've always preferred this era of warfare as Operation Flashpoint is where my BI gaming journey began. Anyway on to the plans, I will be using GM assets to have the following infantry units: Nogovan Light Infantry with G3s Nogovan Paratroopers with G3s Nogovan Highland Rangers with G3s and Soviet Gear Armoured Vehicles - likely to stick with Soviet gear Light Vehicles - a mix of soviet and german/dutch gear Air - a mix of soviet and german Work In Progress Uniforms - i had to much fun with Photoshop one afternoon. I am probably going to keep all the different uniform variants. I would like to add a desert and winter version.   3. Nogovan Armed Forces - NAF: This is my first addon release for Arma3, this addon is based around re-textured AAF units. As much as i would like to have custom infantry models, that is not my strength, config and scripting is my main area of expertise. These units are a continuation of my addon releases on the Nogovan theme which started with OFP/Arma/Arma2. Any feedback would be appreciated. BACKGROUND: Following the wars that ravaged the islands in the 1980’s, it was decided that the old militia system of weekend warriors with a minimum of training was insufficient to ensure the defence of the Nogovan Republic. Permanent armed forces based on universal conscription were therefore established, built around a core of former FIA guerilla’s and returned expatriate officers. The modest resources of the islands of Nogova, Everon and Malden preclude massive investment into modern armaments, leading to an emphasis on acquiring smart soldiers rather than smart weaponry. Rigorous and extensive training programs have been developed to ensure that raw recruits are brought to a high professional standard with a variety of military skills. In joint exercises with Western militariesNogovan draftees have outperformed the foreign regular counterparts on multiple occasions. All soldiers must pass an extended basic training for a period of six months before entering advanced military training. Part of the soldiers are then enrolled in the combat arms, part in the supporting services. Due to the relatively long ininital training all forces have a firm background in basic infantry skills regardless of their subsequent specialisation. The main part of recruits enter the light infantry which provides soldiers with training for operations in both alpine and desert conditions. Nogovan light infantry doctrine places a high value on dispersed and independent operations by platoon sized units against numerically superior or more heavily armed forces, mimicking the resistance tactics developed in the wars against the Soviets. Part of the troops are assigned to the armoured corps, which specialises in combined operations with tanks and armoured personnel carriers. The Nogovan Light Horse endorses fast aggressive tactics to quickly disrupt airborne or amphibuous invasions before initial assault forces are able to establish a firm bridgehead. Its reliance on brute force contrasts with the more fluid tactics of the rest of the army. After basic military training and the light infantry course the best and brightest of the recruits can volunteer for service with the airborne company, undergoing extensive advanced training imparting airborne and amphibuous infiltration techniques, demolitions skills and use of foreign weaponry and equipment. Endurance and initiative are highly stimulated in airborne candidates, a high number of which eventually enter non commissioned and subaltern officer training courses at the ViktorTroska Military Institute. Note to mission makers: This unit represents the first platoon of the EU-sponsored Everon Defence Force, a nascent military force preparing to stand up afer 20 years of no standing army due in the impoverished Republic of Everon in 2035. After a brutal and not successful war for secession, the Everon Defence Force was demobilised in 2015. Only in light of recent tensions with CSAT, the EU is arming the forces of the Nogovan Island Chain in the mediterrannean sea to create a buffer between itself and CSAT. Note to mission makers: This unit represents the near-future timeline Everon Coast Guard, a paramilitary force tasked both with Search and Rescue and coastal souvereignity missions. Their dual role needs them to be highly visible for rescue missions and heavily armed at the same time to provide for Everon's territorial and coastal water integrity. As the Sailors do conduct infantry guard and patrolling duties in coastal areas, they wear camo fatigues to present a low visual profile on land. This has been possible with the help of Roadkill11 and packing open the original -E3- mod by Soronelite.   7. Everon Railways

    Bringing Everon to life in miniature.

    Hello OFP fans. For some time now, (a few years), I've been working on modeling the buildings of Everon in approximately 1:160 scale. I intend to model several towns of Everon and run a miniature railway through the towns. The railway will be called Everon Railways. Obviously, there are no railways on Everon, but this will provide some operational interest to the modeled scene. The construction process for the buildings usually consists of a 3D printed master that was designed with the Google Sketchup program. A mold is made of the master and several replicas are cast in resin. At this stage, I have most of Everon's buildings cast, and over 120 castings have been made. Buildings which have not been designed yet include the military base buildings as well as the churches and chapels. Most of my work now is focused on scaling game generated scene shots of the building sides and roofs and printing those out to scale. From there the screen shot panels are adhered to the resin casting "blanks" to complete the model. This process gives the models the most authentic look possible to match the buildings appearance in the game. Below are a few pics of completed buildings.
