    The new option to play without any mods is really great! Also I was wondering if it would be possible to have a version that changes NATO with OPFOR, so that it would be possible to simulate a scenario where peacekeeping is done by Opfor?
  2. Anybody knows how to fix the respawning? When the player dies it shows the menu where to respawn and it ussualy works the first and second time. But then the screen goes just white and it does not go away. I can hear myself walking in the background and shooting, but the white overlay does not go away. I am playing stock with RHS and opfor units mod.

    Downloaded this yesterday and I am very impressed with this mission. Amazing job making this. However I found few things I would like to say. 1) Persistent savegame would be a great addition, 2) Cities and roads feel deserted. In large cities in Altis or Tanoa there are a just a few civilians and couple of parked cars. It would be great if there would be more life to the environment such as animals, more civilians, driving cars. Also, I have played a bit but I haven't found any IED's. There is also no mission such as IED disposal. Either I am missing something or is it not implemented fully?

    Hello, I haven't played this mission for quite some time. I see that since I last played, you have created a website and a version of the mission for Tanoa. That is great! I wanted to ask a question before I download the mission, Last time I played, I recall quite a big issue. It was impossible to mount any kind of motorized or mechanized attacks because every third solider or so, had an AA weapon on him and was able to hit targets with 100% precision from extreme distances. Has it been fixed during the last year or so? I really like this mission, but this issue ruined much of the fun.
  5. Hello, Great mission, it is very entertaining to play on Chernarus with JSRS4 and RHS mods. Amazing job! However I have a question that might have been asked before but I can not find such post. Is it possible to play as CSAT or the Red faction instead of the Blue faction? So that I still conquer territories at the beginning but I instead fight against Blue faction? If possible, could you post small instructions how to do that, I tried editing the mission myself but no luck so far.

    This mission would be very interesting in Chernarus with the RHS and CDF mod. How hard it would be to port the mission to Chernarus?

    I agree with majorjack, I have encountered this problem many times. For example, I was attacking an AAF base which was around 1.5km away from my HQ. I had it all cleared out except for one soldier which managed to get my guy killed, so I respawned at the HQ and when I returned to the AAF base immediately every single solder had re-spawned including outpost right next to the base.

    Hello, I played this mission quite some time ago and yesterday I decided to play it again. I downloaded latest version of the mission and updated my Arma 3 to latest version. I loaded my last save in which I control around 1/3 of the map, but I noticed few things. For example, I captured few resource objectives and it revealed that AAF does not have tanks, planes, APC or anything. Every singe information that I got is that AAF has absolutely no support vehicles. Do they regenerate? Or is this affected by the newer version of Altis mission than my save file is? If I have to start a new game, can I somehow cheat in those areas I already control in my save so that I do not have to start from nothing again? Another interesting thing I noticed is that last time I played this mission, it seemed that every 2nd AAF soldier was armed with AT weapons and it made any kind of motorized attacks on objectives impossible and always resulted in every single vehicle getting destroyed from 1.5km distance. However now it seems that AAF has way less AT weapons and I managed to do attacks with squad of 3 tanks on multiple objectives resulting in only 1 tank immobilized. This is very good!

    Hello, I wanted to write some thoughts and few issues I have encountered while playing Antistasi for around a month. I always play in Single Player due to my slow internet connection, so that is why I am always looking for some good missions and campaigns I can play. Right now I can say that I have tried pretty much every dynamic campaign there is and Antistasi is the best there is. It has issues, but they are nothing compared to issues occurring in other dynamic missions. Whole lotta Altis is unplayable for me because of the massive lag it creates even in situation where there are less troops and vehicles on the map than in Antistasi. Right now I am playing Arma only because of Antistasi as it provides the best load and play ability. No need for 30 minute loading screens and what not, no load game issues and huge compatibility with mods just makes this a masterpiece. In my current game I have conquered 1/3 of the map and the fighting has come to a stalemate as AAF is not able to launch successful attacks and nor am I due to the strength the AAF has accumulated. I have never seen any mission where dynamically such situation develops. I have had many intense and realistic battle moments during my play-through. However during a month of playing one campaign I wish to point out 2 major issues that I noticed. First issues I noticed is that every third AAF soldier is armed either with AA or AT launchers. It renders armored or air attacks completely useless. I had captured 2 tanks and IFV from AAF Forces. I repaired them and launched an attack on an outpost them all at the same time. From the 6 soldiers that defended the outpost 2 had AT launchers and another had an AA launcher, and even without getting close to the outpost all three armed vehicles were destroyed. I tried many times attacking with vehicles but every time AAF destroys the armor in matter of seconds. Same thing in air, it is near impossible to attack a base from a helicopter. I had 3 AA missiles coming to me even when I was just approaching an AAF base from 1km away. If there was a way to reduce the amount of launchers the AAF has by around 80%, the mission would be much more playable. Second issue is more of a personal taste. I see no sense in NATO troops appearing on the island as soon as I capture a base. In the game it does not feel at all as if I am fighting against AAF as a resistance, but more like I am fighting as the NATO, but just without weapons. When I began the campaign, I fought for a long time against AAF convoys and launched attacks on AAF outposts. When I first took a base after a great battle, the NATO instantly took over with huge amounts of soldiers, tanks and helicopters. That immediately killed all immersion for me and it keeps happening as I keep taking bases and whatnot. I would personally prefer having no NATO in the scenario and manage the garrisons and defenses myself using the FIA soldiers.

    Alright, I updated my game to latest version and the problem seems to have been fixed! Feels so good not having to restart the game every time player gets killed. :) But now I have another small minor problem. I can not use CBA_A3 anymore because if I enable it the UI of the mod becomes super unresponsive and laggy. When I start the game it works fine but after around 5 minutes the UI feels bogged down and not responding to my actions. I believe some script might be looping over and over again, but I have no idea how to check that. Has anyone experienced anything similar? Are there alternatives to CBA_A3?

    I understand, I will update my game as soon as possible and check if the problem still happens. But I first want to complete the game I have begun, I am afraid I will lose progress If I update the game. In the meantime, do you know why my debug console command to become a commander did not work? It would make my current game much more playable if I knew what I am doing wrong.

    1)I am playing in Single Player, Altis. 2)Where is .rpt located? I can not find it. But the bug is not happening only in one session, it is happening every time I load or restart the mission, I even started the entire antistasi campaign from the beginning but it did not fix the problem. 3)I tried fixing the problem myself by using a mod "Call for support" in which it is possible to reinitiate the player's NPC. That solved the problem with sprinting after re-spawn but it made my commander status go away. 4)Yes, the resting does not fix the issue. I tried disabling many mods, with only JSRS and RHS being active and it did not solve the issue. Is the game version important? I believe I have few month old version running as I have not updated my game for a while. My antistasi mission file is latest however.

    I have to ask this for the second time as the problem is making my game unplayable. When my character gets injured or gets killed, and then when I re-spawn or I get healed I can not spirt or run anymore. It is very annoying, does anyone knows how to fix it? Or it would be just as helpful if you could tell me what command I have to write in Debug Console to become a commander. I tried doing this, this setIdentity "Stavros"; this setIdentity "Stavros" this setIdentity Stavros and the same thing but instead of Stavros I wrote protagonista. But it does not work and does not make my character a commander. Please help if possible, I really like this mission and I am ready to provide as much as info you need on the matter if it turns out to be a bug or problem with the mission file.

    Hello, I have a problem or a bug. When my character dies in the game and re-spawns, I can not sprint or change my running pace anymore no matter what I do. Is there a way to fix this? I have not updated my game for some time due to the size of updates. My data plan does not allow it. Could the game version be the fault?

    [SP] Pilgrimage

    Hello, this is amazing mission, very well made but I ran in two problems. First one, I am experiencing crashes. It just happens after few minutes of playing, it shows black screen and the sound keeps going on for about a second and then the game crashes. No specific situation. I am using only mods that are listed here as compatible, though if I disable bcombat, it crashes slightly less. Any ideas how to fix it? And other problem is sound looping, not sure if this is because of this mission bht I have not experienced this anywhere else. There are few specific sounds that loop, even If I reload the game. For example the first aid sound. I have been playing this mission for about 4 hours without starting over and the sound has been looping since the beginning. It drives mr crazy to listed the same sound over and over again. Any fix for it?

    Could you please explain this more detailed? You mean the main hq flagpole? Also another thing i found out. I played for around 30 mins, conquered few territories. Made presistent save and then i went on to conquer more territories and once again i made presistent save. But now when i loaded my game up using the restore session thing. I have only the progress and captured cities that i conquered after making the first save. The second presistent save does not save the game it seems. This occured i think 2-3 times to me already. Also, just to add. I have not had this much fun in any arma game. Thank you for this amazing mission!

    Hello, i have a massive problem with this mission. First of all, amazing mission. The best one i have played in any arma game. The problem is that when i play for like 20 mins conquering territories, suddenly i cant anymore open the Y menu or take down flags, i can not save the game too. It is mission-breaking glitch, that has happened so many times when i take territories it drives me crazy. It is impossible to play. I am using persistent save too all the time. Right now, while i am writing this, i have my arma 3 open and i took like 4 or so territories and the stupid glitch occured again, and once i quit the game i will have to take them again because i cant f save the game now. Any way to fix this really fast?

    What happened?

    What happened to this forum? Nobody posting or anything, is there a new forum? Also, i played the game for a week since its release on steam, there wasn't much to do and all so i stopped playing it. Yesterday i decided to update the game and see what is new. Wow so many new stuff, better performance, human astronaut, those moons that were promised in DLC are in base game. I was speechless seeing all that. Amazing job devs if you are still here. But my question now is, when was the last update and is this game still actively beeping developed? Any post of anything about future of this game? Future of updating and so on? I cant find anything at all, not a word about the added astronauts. What is the purpose of them now and what will be the purpose of them in future, if there is one for this game? ps.   19. ---------- Post added at 08:05 ---------- Previous post was at 08:04 ---------- When i play arma 2, any mission, scenario or anything. It starts to lag a lot after 10 minutes or so. I use all these cleanup scrips and everything. I have made them so aggressive that they clean up dead bodies, wrecks etc. Every 2 seconds. Despite that the game starts to lag a lot. At the beginning i have +60 fps mid settings. But after 10 mins when iy starts to lag i have like 15fps. And it gets worse if i lower or increase the settings. What could be the problem?
  20. Could you please explain a bit deeper how to run the flush command? Also, i unpacked the mission file ( i suppose it works with any mission), with pbo unpacker and i placed the unpacked folder in documents/arma 2 mission folder. And in game i loaded the mission through editor. That seems to gain a huge boost to fps too. I can play 30 mins without any lag in heavy action now.
  21. Ok, i did that. But i didnt saw any black panels while playing the game except once at the very beginning, just right after the loading screen. The log i cleared just before starting the game, did produce 556 lines of code. I played for about 15 mins. This time it started to lag a lot very fast, around 5 minutes after starting to play. I can post the log if you want, but as far as i can tell, it contains a lot of lines about some sound files that it cant find. I forgot to add that i am using few mods, like ACE, Frenchpoints, BW and some smaller ones. I have used much more in past but it didnt lag like it does now. So i think mods are not to blame here, but im not sure. I tried to play the Harvest Red campaign now. Everything run smooth until some 3rd mission, where the team sits on a cliff overlooking a town, while US forces land on the shores. It started to lag there too. But it still run at some 18fps or so, playable but annoying. But as i said, the flash-point mission runs fine at the beginning, even when i set it to have 10 squads at each faction, it doesn't lag. The lag kicks in after 5-10 minutes of playing. At first i thought it might be the dead bodies or the car wrecks. Then i installed the cleanup script in the mission. The bodies and wrecks do clean up now every 2 seconds, but it didn't affect the lag. ---------- Post added at 08:28 ---------- Previous post was at 08:27 ---------- Also this could be unrelated, but in editor i can place even up to 250 empty cars on the map and the fps doesnt drop at all. But as soon as i place over 30 cars with AI or people in them, the game starts to produce massive lag. Could this be issue with ace AI (or CPU ? ) ?
  22. Ok, i tried to play few times using -noLogs thing. First time when i played i thought that this had worked because the game didnt lag at all for 15 or so mins of intense action. Then 2nd time doing the same mission (flashpoint user mission), it started to lag again so bad that i couldnt even turn my camera anymore. It happened very fast, from 60fps to less than 5fps in just few seconds. And after waiting around 5 mins while it lags, the lag didnt stop. It stayed at >5fps. Restarting mission fixes the lag for another 10 minutes until this all starts again. Tried 3rd time aswell and it started to lag after 10mins as usual. I have no idea what is causing this. I have no background processes running, no antivirus scans or anything. It must be something with the game

  24. Hello, how can i make AI use mortars and missile launchers without scripts in missions? I am playing this Flashpoint mission that automatically generates war. It adds units and tanks etc. etc. But AI never uses artillery or missile launchers they have, they simply stand and repeat one sentence every second on radio. I am using ACE btw, if that matters.
  25. But i cant get in editor, how do i use it on mission then? Or how can i place the script in the mission? Ps.
