  1. Great to see the STHUD being integrated. Please make it configurable I.e ability to hide if players don't want it Ability to hide compass cardinals if players don't want it Configurable colours and member information. E.g. STHUd doesn't work well with 8 man sections (we have our own overlay that bolts onto STHUD to fix that)

    Tanoa discussion (Dev-Branch)

    Had a cracking time flying around Tanoa last night... Streamed it so some mates could see and though you might be interested in the findings. Messed with Ai visibility through trees etc and some combat scenarios to test "Jungle Warefare"
  4. Hi, yep, tried all the settings, and the core gamma and brightness sliders. Best I was able to get was dropping gamma to 0.8. Which made nighttime literally pitch black and cocked up all the other maps to boot. So yes you can adjust the sliders but it will only adjust within the"corrected" colour-space of altis or stratis which have had their assets adjusted to work with the new light. So respectfully we still need Solano-San...
  5. I think the difference is that on ALTIS the changes look great... I love em. But on other not vanilla or older maps... they look rubbish....

  7. Yeah I had a play with them.... got it looking crackin on altis.. with just a little more gamma and 106 on the satuation, but I still prefer the Kunduz of old... Seems that vegetation has a green luminosity that I cannot dial out without causing the screen to look washed out... Ho hum... I'll manage ;-) SJ
  8. Please tell me someone is working on a fix for the new 1.60 lighting... it looks great on Altis, granted, but seems to have screwed up all the other maps something terrible... wierd green cast on all vegetation, way too much contrast etc. Solano.. work your magic please :-)
  9. hmm, i have to say I'm not a fan of the lighting - looks too contrasty and seems to have lost the balance to my eyes.. subjective I know so not expecting anyone to agree... Anyway lots of other nice fixes though so still a huge thanks ! :-)

    testing it now :-) Do we all see the same animations i.e. blood spray after an event ? If so can this be adjusted centrally on the server ? I.e. % chance and time of bleed etc ? Cheers

    I've been searching for this replacement for "MERGE" for some time... why is it not listed under EDIT at the top tool bar ? Seems really odd to have missed that ? Anyway got it working at least

    Yet Another Arma Benchmark

    We were messing with benchmarks on the 3CB forum and someone showed me this - brilliant mission btw ! So I thought it worthwhile to load my results here. First run is with - everything at Ultra / max apart from oversampling which was set to 100% (1080p) Then did the same with an OC on the GPUS Then dropped back to my vanilla settings with Oversampling at 200% Looks like 4k is costing 5 frames ! Amazingly CPU bound CPU 5960x at 4.5 32gb at 1600 2 x GTX980 OC at 1496Mhz core and 1903Mhz on the mem at OC

    I've never seen them suppressed tbh.... If you're within 100 metres of bailing crew, whether it's from a burning T72 or an ifrit... your chances of survival as an ambusher are pretty low.... Any chance of building into the game some of that code ? I.e. random disarmament etc ?

    Hi oukej, Here's one for you I think. Is there any way we can avoid the Steroid Terminator Ai reaction when crew bail from vehicles....? They should be disoriented, choking on smoke, panicked, completely NOT able to 180 No scope....

    This mod gives you the ability to place A2 and "A1" building on a mission map or a new terrain. They are not already included on Altis or Stratis, unless you add them :-) Sj

    Looks great, and as a member of one of those units that tries to play properly in MP I can't wait to see what you come up with. Watching the slow-mo videos it does look like EVERY shot causes a blood splatter - which with uniforms, armour etc is unlikely could the effect be rendomised Or at least configurable ? Might help with performance too... i.e. a little toned down :@) SJ
