    Most armed vehicles in ArmA has countermeasures. Try check if your Amtrac mod has them.
  2. The issue with that would be that it'd mix up different helmets. Lets say you use black ess marpat LWH. Now you take out goggles. Now you have standard marpat LWH and goggles. Now lets switch back to helmet. The game will switch it back to the standard tan cover instead of black. You could add a variable that'll be set for which helmet you previously had and what goggles you can attach to them if you'd like to "patch" the mod and make it more advanced.

    Does using ACRE/TFAR remove the "Radio" and therefore removing the AI's ability to communicate to other groups since "radio" item is required?
  4. Hey! I've been trying to setup a quick action that allows the player to sling rifle to chest (3 point sling) and look through binoculars. I remember there being an animation for this a few years back in ArmA3. However, it seems like it was removed due to people not being able to move whilst having their binos out. I was wondering if anyone knows if this animation even exists anymore. I haven't been able to find it in the anim viewer and I've spent a few hours looking for it now. Any help or tips that might hint in the right direction would be greatly appreciated! :) EDIT:

    Client-side FPS drops

    Does your mission dynamically spawn in AI as you enter towns? I've noticed a lot of missions do and that might be the issue. Keep in mind most missions use more AI and heavy scripts and textures etc than ArmA was optimised for. Honestly it could be anything but it sounds like memory. Especially since it doesn't stop after you leave the mission but you have to restart the game to fix it. That probably clears the cache and fixes the issue. I wouldn't know though. Try testing your server by playing a vanilla gamemode included in ArmA3 made by BI. Do it without any mods. Just the server running ArmA with 100% vanilla. Not even SThud or similar clientside mods. If it works. Allow mods one by one and check if anything bad happens. Try out clientside mods too. Make people connect with different modsets etc. It's all about taking it slow and methodical.

    RHS compared to vanilla ArmA gear and weapons lowers FPS quite a bit. Even "famous" missions still aren't FPS friendly sometimes. ArmA is a dynamic sandbox. You can do anything. You have to adjust and adapt to different situations. You enter a town? Lower your view distance. You have massive ammounts of explosiosn etc? Lower your graphic settings nad particles. Don't use blastcore etc unless you don't mind lag spikes. It's most likely the memory and cache if it doesn't happen instantly but over time. Check mission to see if it has a lot of loops or things that clutter up. Try running vanilla ArmA without mods and same scripts. If it's not the mission then it's the mods. Extreme quality models and lods and textures can cause lag too. :) In my experience ArmA is a VERY well optimised game if you're playing vanilla using vanilla assets and no unreliable scripting.
  7. Hey! I've been trying to make an action appear for all players within 1.5m of a table. It works perfectly fine in SP but not on dedicated. I assume it's the "player" part that breaks it but honestly I wouldn't know. It's a script I made for ArmA2 that functioned properly back then. Code in init: Purpose: Create action "Execute Script" for all players including JIP that go near a table. Repetable. In SP "Execute Script" action appears, script fires, everything's fine. In Dedicated MP the action doesn't appear, script can't fire, everything's terrible. Any help would be much appreciated! I've been trying to fix this for much longer than I should've without asking for help.
  8. Thanks for the help! The thing is I call two parms through the addaction but surely I can change them. I'll just make some cases for each one I guess. I'll try and see if it works :)
  9. Shouldn't setCaptive True work on the helo itself? So that no one shoots at it regardless of crew?

    Hey! Can't say much about the mod since I haven't tried it but it looks cool! :) Could you sign this seperate to the enhanced movement? Currently on our server the serverKey provided with Enhanced Movement allows for usage of this mod as well.

  12. Hey! I've tried searching for two days but haven't found much. I'm trying to use hideObjectGlobal to clear a field on Altis and can't get rid of field toilets. I also can't seem to find the type of any of the objects neither. My question is. Does anyone have a full list of object groups for ArmA3? As in "HOUSE", "TREE", "WALL", "FENCE", but also "CAR", "TANK", "AIR", etc etc. I'm struggling to figure out under which category the field toilets fall under.. :/ Any help would be much appreciated! :)

    Looks perfect for a VDV invasion mission. Love the "clear cuts" that's not very common in arma maps. Reminds me a bit of the Podagorsk map from FDF A2.

  17. Not tested, should work. Allows to modularity or whatever the fancy word for it is. You can add several different whitelists for pilots, squad leads, command etc. PM/Reply if you need more help. :)
  18. This post seems a bit sketchy but I don't see why revive would be removed from official servers. I personally prefer the way it's done in ArmA2(OA?) though. The system isn't perfect, it's not even that good, but it's wayyyy better than not having it at all. If you're looking for a hardcore experience look elsewhere because ArmA3 is simply a shooter on its own.

    Just edit the mission by placing down TFAR modules? Should be easier? I've not used TFAR since the latest (TFAR and ArmA) update so I don't know if there's something else required for it to work.
  20. Turn off all the kicks for duplicates, BE etc > Then start two instances of ArmA 3 > Proceed to join the server > Win? IDK but should work?

  22. I agree on most cases. MY way of zeusing is pretty decent though. OnT: Maybe just search up "Side missions", "Side mission script", "Side mission pack" etc etc with the suffix "ArmA" and gain some inspiration?
