CW001 10 Posted June 11, 2010 The worlds first football game to be decided by nuclear war? :D Battle of the century :p
niall0 10 Posted June 11, 2010 C'mon England! Tbh, I think Serbia will be surprise team of the tourney (well I hope so, it's what I have told everyone.). SA v Mexico was a bit average, Mexico should have bagged it. France v Uruguay was also not the best, neither team really looked like scoring. Just hope it gets better from now on. mattxr 9 Posted June 11, 2010 France wont advance out of the group A. I bet some cash on it. I agree they played terrible today! It had to be one of the worst football matches i have ever watched lol!
icebreakr 3159 Posted June 11, 2010 Slovenia's is attending World Cup for the second time. With just a bit over than 2 million population its a remarkable achievement. Can't wait to see the matches against USA and England :) I bet there will be couple of big suprises in the upcoming days...
jakerod 254 Posted June 12, 2010 I'm kind of upset that Trinidad and Tobago isn't in it this year. It was fun rooting for the little guy that was struggling to get enough power so that its population could watch the cup. Too bad they didn't make it very far. I've still got the shirt I bought in 2006 :D Was my favorite team and I really enjoyed the 0:0 against England :)

I don't like this group since Australia is my second favorite team :( Germany is struggling with quite some problems. First keeper killed himself, second is injured so this is just the third one. Plus, really experienced players are missing... I don't see us progressing as far as we did during the last cups... I'm watching most if the games in puplic areas. By doing so, I'm avoiding those stupid trumpets... god, I hate them! Spoiling the whole cup.

maddogx 13 Posted June 12, 2010 Ah, come on. We'll beat England on penalties (as usual), and after that, who cares... :p Not funny. ... :D One of my colleagues keeps joking about how the goal that won England the cup in 1966 wasn't really a goal, so England are now damned to lose all penalty shootouts and never win the cup again for 100 years. :( Not this time! Engalaaaaand, Engalaaaaand, Engalaaaaaaaaaand!
Maddmatt 1 Posted June 12, 2010 What about getting ride of these vuvuzelas... My ears can't make it anymore.. hehRegards, TB Hey be thankful you don't have to put up with them in person! Some moron(s) in my neighbourhood keep blowing them at random times. I was working for a company doing the timing system for the Comrades Marathon (popular 90km marathon here). Most of the day I was surrounded by fans going wild with vuvuzelas, enough to drive a normal person insane :p The world cup is unfortunately making them more popular. Everywhere we have idiots blowing them randomly :butbut:
raedor 8 Posted June 12, 2010 20 minutes to go. I hope it won't be as boring as most games so far. Argentina had a good start, but after that? Let's hope for some good football! :)

Thunderbird 0 Posted June 12, 2010 Great first half between the US team and the brits... I like how both teams play football, and I do specifically appreciate the US fighting spirit. Btw, I Hope that Rooney will be a pinch more visible during the second half No comments about the british goal keeper... Let's say that the man's unlucky Regards, TB
