after the problems with the ace version i tried using the seal team 4 standard game now im having problems with mission 2. I get to the briefing screen and i get this error

"campaigns\sealteamsix4_cmp\missions\4m2-operationdeadchill.namalsk\mission.sqm/mission/groups/item20/vehicles/item0.vehicle: vehicle class winter_sof_medic no longer exists"

Then it crashes to the arma 2 menu. looks like my evening isnt going to be booked up with this campaign after all.

I have the same problem but the line has ACE 2 in it. And i do have the latest version of the mercenarie addon installed.

Hello all, I hope you are enjoying the campaigns. Sorry to hear that some of you are having problems. I'm almost a hundred percent sure all problems have been addressed, but I will double check everything when i get off work in a lil bit.

Pay real close attention to the requirements for each campaign. The non Ace version is complete and uses the current TF86 addon V1.1. The Ace version uses version 1.0 of TF86 addon. It will be updated and included with the next stable ACE release. Has soon has the ACE team releases, I will update the ace version.

Okay just checked the non ace version and it works perfectly. Please make sure you have installed the campaign from file front v1.2. Armahloic is not up to date.

glad to finally be able to play operation K-Bar and the following missions with the fix :D this is by FAR the best campaign I've played for Arma II including the campaign that came with the game, AWESOME work ;) Do you plan on updating the older three campaigns with voice acting, new SEAL addon etc...it really adds to the experience

Isla Duala would be great :cool:maybe as part of an international task force since we've got great SEALs, MARSOC, UKSF and SASR addons out now. I love the globe hopping theme of the SEAL Team Six 4 campaign, keeps things fresh

Seal Team Six camps have been my favourites ever since I started playing Arma, thanks for the great job!

Recently, I've started to use a well constructed Addon compilation(basically harmonizing ACE-GL4-ZEUS & SLX), which makes the game more enjoyable.(http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=96591)

So my question is, wether it should/could be used when playing through Six4?

I mean how would it work with GL4 and Zeus?

Or should I keep it ACE only?

As far as I can say (didn't play Seal Team Six 4 just the first one), I play with ACE+Zeus+SLX and totaly disable GL4 because of strange things like ennemy squads that leave the place they have to keep. With the three mods stated before, Ai is responsive even if it's not as coordinated as with GL4 running.

The problem is with GL4 is the fact that your team keep surrendering at any point, which is enough to drive you mad.

But the effects are a must have.

Thanks for the responses.

The.D's compilation does a great job at configuring the different addons: only a limited setup is used, so I haven't yet met eg. with team surrendering... Or is it happening with Six?

I'll give it a try then, and try to keep my eyes open if it works well.

I really just wanted to know how are these missions written: how such low CPU usage was achieved, and if these type of scripting could conflict with the logic of AI mods, or something.

I clicked on the PBO in SLX in options: SLX_NoSurrender. I haven't tried it yet. Enemy AI surrender in GL4, maybe both sides surrender in SLX.

I would stick with the Seal campaigns. Seal operations just offer an almost infinate number of realistic scenarios and the operations are mostly on a smallers scale. What i would like to see in the future though is a seal campaign on a jungle or tropical map. I mean they are trained for all climates afterall.

Being new to ARMA (completely new, actually eagarly wating for my version to arrive in the mail)....I've been reading these forums as much as possible learning what I can.....

So here is a very noob question. I am somewhat getting familiar with the idea of creating "mod folders" for add-on features (with these folders having their own ARMA 2 EXE to launch with/from). However, do I need to create a new folder for created "missions" .... Like this one (SEAL Team Six 4)??

Yes, it needs a "campaigns" folder for custom campaigns.

Yep! That's all there is to it. Seems strange that the game would recognize a folder that was never there in the first place.........yes?

Be sure to drop only campaign files in there.

still getting some odd crashes. One was trying to heal at the helicopter and the other was on a save.

Operation dead chill the 2nd mission does not load correctly. Is anyone else getting an error message before the mission loads and ends with an image of a C130?

Yes everything is up to date. It only happens on this second mission. I do have a lot of mods running. I would like to know what mods to have while running this campaign - apart from GL4, JTD and SLX?

I guess if you can disable them and see what happens will know for sure.
