The Campaign is really great !!!! Good JOB !

But i have one BIG PROBLEM: I can't start the Mission "Operation Death Run", the Gunner-Mission. The Game freezes before the start of the mission and doesnt even show me the loading screen.

Plz Help !!! I wanna finish this really fantastic campaign.

Found a solution for the problem myself. I used the "Campaigns"-Cheat to see all missions, then i tried to start the DEATH RUN-Mission. The Mission didn't start again, but there was a Message that a file is missing (ibr_dtowns.pbo).

I googled for that file and found it in the Isla Duala-Addon. I installed it and now everithings fine ---> The MIssion started !!!

Ps.: It was a broblem with the non ace-version !!!

It will be after Arrowhead. I'm taking my time do to the new choice system Specter will have which dictates how the missions will play out.

Hey this Campaign Looks Awsome,, id love to play but I can't because I cant find my Arma 2 Campaign Folder....IDK were it is. SOmeone plz help me.....i play Arma 2 through Steam if that helps

You need to create the folder called "Campaigns" in your main ArmA II folder.

Just finished the campaign today, Great job on it :thumb:

I've just finished playing the campaign now. I wanted to tell you how amazing it was. It is a very very very nice job. I can't wait for the next !

Sick1, I'm playing through OA, not Arma2. I've noticed that while plating Hard Tension, there are no rearming weapons on the boat; and when I had to free the prisoners, there was a spec op who was constanly firing and my team and I could not find him to finish the mission.

I don't know if you can have a look at this using OA, and maybe upgrade a notch so it can be used loading through OA?

Is anyone else having trouble using bipods? In my ACE interaction menu there is no "Rest Weapon/ Deploy Bipod" command. Does everone else have or not have this? Will a couple of you let me know either way so I can know if there is something wrong with my game or if it is just the way the mission is designed. Thanks.

Sick1 - Great job enjoying it so far.

Two things :-

1) I'm another user who is experiencing crashes before loading Operation Death Run. Most upto date Ace + Island version

2) Any chance of including all the HK417 RH variants within the loadouts ? Also, it would great if you could include the 7.62 mags for both HK417 and the Scars when at the various rearming points (vehicles, caches etc). I like to go equipped with 7.62 firepower, and this would complete the missing link !

Hey Sick if(when) you make another can you make it 2-4 map co-op?

I've had mixed results trying to host your campaigns co-op. The missions that are only one player are obviously an issue. I fixed that a little by editing a seperate 3 man team in that's not attached to the main player. So if it's solo player, he's by himself and has no control over the rest of the team, but if it's co-op there can be 4 people.

Default rest weapon buttons for ace are shift+spacebar. It's not in the interaction menu.

Thanks for the info guys. I didn't know he added the Masada and 417's. Here is what I fixed.

1. Mission 5- The enemy who is stuck in a wall.

2. Mission 7- Crash/Freeze while loading.

3. Mission 4- Made the targets less likely to flee their target locations.

4. Added 417's and all the others.

5. You can now tackle all objectives has any member of the team and not loose Intel or task completions in the briefing. Ie- if you are playing has Jester while clearing an objective, once its complete you will be switched back to the leader. Note that some objectives have to be triggered by Specter such as conversations.

Here is also an update on some of my current up coming campaigns. I will be releasing ODA 574 U.S. Rangers sometime next month. It will be up to 8 players coop and will feature Professional voice work not from me. Of course it will require OA. After that I will be releasing Seal Team Six 5 which will take place on Duala and feature branching paths and multiple secondary objectives which will dictate the teams success. Thanks to everybody who comments on here. You guys motivate me. Thanks!

I forgot to mention that its all fixed and I'm waiting to upload them now;)

I started playing the 1.7v with special effects mods and noticed the first mission is very erratic. After taking out the five blokes on the hill, and discovering the dead US marine, you are told to go to the exraction point; and then your heli comes and the BMPs make light work of it.

The special effects mods are an integral part of Arma, without them its dull. SLX is updated but GL4 and JTD is not, not too sure about war effects.

I'm playing the 1.6v and its fine!

im playing the latest ace version

when i try to call in a airstrike in mission one, the F35 comes over twice but never drops the load on target.

this always worked in previous versions, wat's going on here?.

I changed the munition to LGB to make it more realistic. This time you have to use a laser designator on the target.

Not sure what problems you are experiencing. Your setting in GL4 are very important and will break missions if not set properly. It can cause enemies to abandon areas that they need to guard causing errors with triggers. I recommend not using it in single player. Your extraction helo is invulnerable to damage and should not be affected in any way. In my opinion Arma 2 has been improved to the point where GL4 is not needed. Besides it has features the mission designer did not implement for a reason. The only mods I have found to work with my campaigns is ACE.

Err...

I can not get past the first intro... I see the kill scene, I hear the phonecall, quick loading, quick random ACE error and then it's the intro again... What is happening? :-/

The ACE Error is the typical "you cant play cuz it's been deleted"

Ard_ACU_INF1_ACE is what I need... :-/

i request the airsupport, lgb's, mark target on map and start lasing the target.

but when the F35 comes he just fly's by and evades again the laser marker says its hot on target so tell me what am i doing wrong here ??

I'm not sure, but I tested the hell out of this before I made the change. I'll look into it again. Sorry about the inconvenience.

I have downloaded all the required addons and my ACE is up to date.

I even re-downloaded ACE yesterday. Still the same. :-/

Man I've got something very special in the works. I'm taking a small break from ST6 five. My Green Beret campaign will be out in two weeks hopefully and will feature a great story and some pretty darn amazing voice work(not me).

Has for those with errors. I will try and fix them tonight after work. Sorry for the inconvenience.
