A.C.E. 2 - v1.2 stable (Advanced Combat Environment) Old

Recommended Posts

Having an odd issue with my ace_keys, for some reason, once i updated the config to the latest one, my self interaction menu , interaction menu, and even the Dagr menu do not work, no matter what keys i change it to.

Probably means you use an old CBA.

We've added checks and warnings in the next build of ACE to verify CBA version ;)

looking for info on sandbags. Did the search routine and couldnt get a handle on it. Sand box is loaded with empty sandbags and I know there are commande to stack bags etc. Any ideas. How do I find a crate with full sandbags.

You need to be on sand and use the self interaction key. http://ace.dev-heaven.net/wagn/Sandbags

what is the new dagr system?

Can't find any info about it on the wagn.

DAGR Docu was added: http://ace.dev-heaven.net/wagn/DAGR

I am wondering, do i need to download all ACE parts to bring it to ver. 1.1?, i have Core and PLA but i have not downloaded the new version of ACEX yet, it is a very big download.

Tells you here what is optional: http://ace.dev-heaven.net/wagn/Download or in more detail: http://ace.dev-heaven.net/wagn/Overview#Components%20of%20ACE2

There has to be an easyer way by now.
Indeed. If the simple download instructions are too much, or you're looking for the latest version, Six Updater or Yoma AddonSync are your single-installer options.
Thanks for the answer, will read through. I guess my next question is if ACEX is going to stay excluded in that?

We had to make some preperations, but now it is: http://dev-heaven.net/projects/acex/repository

Had a browse through the recent posts here, but couldn't see anything about this.

We use Kellys for YOMA syns, and saw a 25MB update appear yesterday, but unlike all previous updates (including the one on the 28th(?) ACE 1.1 RC #6 145MB), no corresponding log appeared in the dev-heav log:

http://dev-heaven.net/projects/ace-mod2/news

What have i missed?

Perhaps you missed the hotfix announced in the thread, and added to the release log?

http://ace.dev-heaven.net/wagn/ACE_1_1_Update_6

Otherwise you might be talking about ACEX_SM fixes? http://updater.dev-heaven.net/mods/show/3551246a-ea7a-11de-905c-0021855d3b6d

Since ACEX_SM is signed with a single generic key, and thus you can use any version on any server with ACEX_SM allowed, these fixes can be decoupled from the official updates.

I'll see about improving notification about this btw.

It is a problem in the updated haml-3.0.7 library. I've locked six-updater-web-0.16.3 to haml-3.0.6, and released it.

Please close the updater prompt if you have it open, then rerun the GUI to grab the latest library with fixed dependency.

Cheers, the database is incomplete due to earlier issues,

please delete C:\users\yourname\appdata\roaming\six-updater (otherwise shown as DATA_PATH during updater-gui startup), and retry.

I just created a mission with ACE 1.1 and the High Command Tool and got a issue. I sync myself as Commander and another squad as "byHighCommandcontrolledTeam". Now all other units which are on my side, neither if they are synced with the module are also commanded by me.

Would appreciate some help very much..!

I dont know if this has been asked but is there anyway to get rid of the annoying ACE splash screens ingame when ever you try and do the smallest task?

It has been asked before. Those are CBA loading screens. Try loading just vanilla and CBA up.

I'm not sure if this has been asked but why exactly does the RPK-74M with the fourty five round magazine require earplugs when you can in some ways operate just as the AK-74M does?

Any chance\interest in offering a full *.exe installer for the mod, maybe with somekind of Wizard to input some configs (like Profile name) for the Stables releases?

Thank you for the offer.

I suppose it could be useful to have some kind of generic installer that unpacks the 7z's and handles things, since the mod is split up in multiple components.

The userconfig editor could be useful aswell. I've implemented a prototype userconfig editor for the six-updater gui and will improve it soon, so it will at least be covered for the updater users :)

Thats was a question, not a offer. Sorry. :pet5:

But since I have plenty of free-time in my hands now and was doing some research on it, I could take a look at that. But don´t expect anything. :j:

If you did a search the answer would be infront of you.

To make things easy you need to set up an updater.

Now you can use the search button to find out how or go to main ACE page and search there.
