No, ST6 aka Devgru is the Navy's Counter Terrorism force, their equivalent of the Army's Delta Force aka CAG. They recruit their operators from the other SEAL teams, so for a mission this high profile in a country we're not even supposed to be in it would be ludicrous not to use Devgru or CAG.

Taken down inside a mansion - just like the ending of your ODD Campaign! It could be an epic campaign if it starts in Tora Bora with Delta in 2002 and ends up in with Seal Team 6 in P(T)akistan in 2011. Based on actual events! You could put in a Redwing-type mission in there too, just when we think everyting is going swimmingly. The Campaign could go through a whole series of close calls, based on real life - (eg missed Predator Drone strike) just like Lopotev did Harvest Red.

So... who is going to create the 1st Seal Team 6 scenario with a map of 'Abottabad Pakistan' (including OBL's compound)?

Thanks for all the suggestions guys, I actually thought about making a campaign which used all of the famous seal team missions, from Panama to Tora Bora. But I still need to finish devgru then recreate Socom 2. I've got finals this week, but after that look to see the campaign released within a couple of weeks. If some of you guys are hankerin for a quick fix, I suppose I could release one mission for to play test. Let me know. Thanks!!

As an ex-member of U.S. Army Special Forces I've cross-trained with Navy Seals. As bad-a$$ as us Green Berets thought we were we all knew Seals were even badder. Of course the difference in our respective missions had a lot to do with it (SF is primarily to 'win the hearts & minds'... advise, train and lead insurgent/guerrilla forces in unconventional warfare and Seals are primarily direct action) but still...

Consider this: The fallout rate during initial Seal training ('hell week') is about 80%. The remaining that make it are truly the best.

Only once you are a Seal can you can apply for the "Naval Special Warfare Development Group" (abbreviated to NAVSPECWARDEVGRU, or DEVGRU). Only the very exceptional Seals are picked, i.e. They must be in peak physical shape, they must already have operational experience and have a great reputation among their peers within the Naval Special Warfare community.

Even so, after a 6 mo operators training course it's been said only about 60% of the applicants to DEVGRU, only a little more than half of some already really bad asses are chosen. So they are the Best of the Best.

As high profile as this operation was, I suspect the operators chosen for this mission within the available pool were the pick of the DEVGRU litter.

So bottom line, the DEVGRU team that went after Osama bin Laden were indeed the very Best of the Best of the Best!!!

p.s. Officially there really isn't an ST6. ST6 was dissolved in 1987 creating DEVGRU but the moniker stuck anyway.

This was a fun mission and took me hours to finish, after being killed about 20 times.

Just a few notes in the spoiler, knowing that this is beta.

I do this to input my part in an up-coming great campaign. I hope you don't mind.

OK, here goes:

1. On the map, Commanders Quarters should be Qua and not Qau.

2. If facing East on the runway, the hangers on the left side are not evenly placed on the ground. They lean left and right and forward and backward.

3. When I first started, I was asked for "rktsu33". I downloaded it and it worked fine from there.

4. I believe HQ said to go East of my position of "Hide Site" when it's actually West on the map.

As a suggestion: HQ should warn Specter that the next objective will be a hot zone and not to land the Helo too close.

@Sick1. I get this message whilst trying out this mission "you cannot play/edit this mission,it is dependeant on downloadable content that has been deleted. rktsu 33". Ive got all addons. Any idea whats causing it? EDIT= ok got the rkt su 33. Now it's saying i need rkt weapons. Will report back in a moment EDIT 2=Ok got it working ive got all RH weapons but still get the odd message on all seal campaigns such as-No entry"bin\config.bin/Cfg Magazines.RH_7rnd_50_AE. It's probably due to the fact thei'rs so many different versions and updates of the RH packs. Hope you don't think this feedback is negative,the campaigns are great and thank's for your work but any chance you could do a daylight version just for the eye candy i know it' not realistic but i hate playing night time missions. Once again thank's for the campaigns and missions

Keep on eye out of what Sick1 said here:

Also, I think it is RH_m4 or RH_m16 that has ACE pbo files in the addons.

Search all of your RH folders and pull out the ACE pbo files in the addons and put them aside for later.

Hope you don't think this feedback is negative,the campaigns are great and thank's for your work but any chance you could do a daylight version just for the eye candy i know it' not realistic but i hate playing night time missions. Once again thank's for the campaigns and missions

Check out one of the FULLNVG addons on Armaholic.

You can get the full screen view which may make your night playing more fun.

Some of the more serious players want the more "realistic" look and feel.

For me, I like Full view without the black on the sides. I don't like blind spots.

hi!!, i have use the search button in this treadh but i don't see an answer for my problem: i read that Zeus AI break the missions (and its true, because i use silenced weapons with silenced ammo and i do headshots and all the enemies spot me), so i tried GL4 because have better silent effects, but when i start a new mission, the Gl4 start running, and when the HQ end the conversation in the screen displays a messages telling me the mission is complete, when i go to the coast the mission end. I tried combining Gl4 + slx+ zeus ai + ace, for better realism in all missions (but i still don't know if it works well), and the gl4 is still causing me this problem anyone can help me?, the problem is in the first mission in the first campaing

Was there a fix for this or workaround..anything?

Of course lots of rumour and speculation, but I read somewhere that they called in an Army (presumably SOAR) Chinook to take out the trash (docs, evidence plus operators/crew from the crashed bird ...)
