Darkhorse 1-6 16 Posted May 8, 2010 Is there a tutorial for random marking/license plates anywhere? I love your work, and want to incorporate a little something "extra" like you guys did, on a project im working on...
soul_assassin 1750 Posted May 16, 2010 Sorry I didnt answer your message Darkhorse. As far as I know there is no tut for this. The principle isnt that tough though. The system we use at RHS has been compiled to be generic for all our addons thus its pretty complicated but a single addon script can be easily made. Just follow the breadcrumbs: 1: Make number decal textures (0 to 9), each number in different texture with transparent background. 2: Set up decal planes on the models. 3: Set up the decal planes as hiddenselections in model.cfg and config.cpp 4: Write a script that randomizes the number textures for each hiddenselection Thats about it. Sorry I cant help more.

NSX 8 Posted June 8, 2010 Red Hammer Studios urgently need a specialist, who's good at config-work and knows how to make at least the basic scripts (or who's willing to cooperate with our scripter). The first task is the following - we need to implement the arty module support for our pack of self-propelled artillery. If you're willing to join the friendly RHS team and feel yourself skillfull enough to carry out this and other similar tasks - then simply post here or drop me a PM. :)
