now i have a different error:Include file x\cba\addons\script_macros_common.http not found

does it matter wich beta patch you're using?

Does it matter if you have a steam account/install??

never because the devs are as stubborn as codemasters thinking peer to peer is fine for multiplayer

You just put it on using a ammo crate (ACE ammo crate), and it "works" from what I understand.

there is no start icon containing the: =mod@ACEX ,=mod@ACE,=mod@CBA

man I feel your pain,I opted to bypass it all together because of all the negative posts.What saved my ass was the yoma server link posted a few pages back(page 2??3?...not sure which).Worked like a charm and was very very painless.Ace...you'd be wise to offer this as a standard option.

I'm not much into moding. I was expecting to see auto installation file or some regular@mod folder to copy paste and then proper edit arma.exe. Right now it's too much for me, sorry :)

Really guys what is that fuss and whining about the installer? The ACE guys trying something new - which might cause some problems at first - and all they get is bashing and flaming. After all it's all for free and if it takes some brainwork then so be it.

And there's still Yomas addon sync you can use to get the mod. If that's also too complicated then I don't know.

@Sickboy: the SIX updater is a good tool, but most people are just lazy ;) ( some are encountering real issues, but most are lazy )
