There's only so much I can do mr.g-c. If people would only realize that :)

Supply us with feedback and reports in the appointed issue tracker, and I'll see what I can do.

PPL aren't realizing that it's not just the client-side software :)

The whole pipeline of ACE is AUTOMATED and connected to the updater process.

This is what I provide. And if anyone wants anything different, simple, THEY provide it :)

First its not a rant towards anything, just after trying it for an hour, you get somehow a bit confused/depressed by it not working.

No seriously, i thought the updater would contain/present itself just like in the internal version, because this was so simple and easy. :o

It is still a awesome piece of software you coded there and as i see it its just that ACE2 preset missing by default... I'll write a feature-request now in the Dev-heaven Space....

@All others:

If you had the same Problem like me, please Notice that there was one part missing in the 2 Videos. Read that post by Crawler or the linked "Quick-Start-Guide". You just need to edit the "beta" preset and add the Mods you want to have managed/updated by the six-updater.

I wasnt refering at you with @programmer rant. I was referring at the rant of the programmer a page before that :D

Thanks a bunch to KH for the Yoma server, but why is it downloading both gz and pbos?

First, i want to say Thanks a LOT for that awesome Mod!!!

The first thing i noticed, was the possibility to play at night now,

since the NV Goggles are awesome now with the light fix.

The new Units are stunning, will be a long night-!^^

Having a problem with KEY bindings.

Example:

- When I press Shift+Space to rest weapon, the normal Command menu comes up as well which means I may give a command rather than fire. Weapon does rest but at this expense.

- Not sure if other binding such as Shift+F (CQB sights) are working either. I haven't noticed a change in FOV but the F does make the ammo rate change.

- Shift+H (grenades) works although it's in German :)

This, none of the ACE key binds work on me :(

EDIT: and i know when they should be working and when not, they just never work

Seeing as I can't get the updater working due to it telling me to delete a six-update.pid file I dont have, Im going to manually install this first version. The question is, do I need to add all the keys aswell?

Is there somewhere where I can find the class names for all the new stuff in the mod (including the backpacks)? I want to add them to some missions.

estract the .pack folder and rename it either @CBA, @ACE, @ACEX, the open the ACE one and copy the .hpp, go into the Arma2 userconfig folder, create a "ace" folder and paste the 4 files you copied before, make a shorcut like this: "C:\Programmi\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\arma2.exe" -mod=@CBA;@ACE;@ACEX ( if your using betas then it's different ) and you are ready to go :)

relaunched the 'updater' ,it appears to be downloading more files.

weird that I didnt get it all the first time, but hey, you gotta like this updater eh?

Please select option 2 from the launcher, and try again.

The wounding system isn't integrated yet.

It is. But it is module activated.

Nah use Yomas Addon Sync - its nice and has more style! :p

It is OK for now but you'll need to start using the Rsync updater at some point.

We'll keep the KH as updated as possible but updating the YAS Repository needs a manual process. Thus KH YAS repository is not real-time and will be updated after a certain time. We'll talk to Yoma to automate the process. If we can it will be much easier to serve updated content.

If you want to update your ACE as soon as the dev team updates and releases it, you need to use the official Rsync Tool.

Even though we'll try to keep it as updated as possible to our best ability, KH YAS Mirror is an alternative and you should be aware of the limitations.

i gave up the installation, i watched the vids over and over, and read the install instructions, wont even install the mod.

Il wait for a full installation file, like it was at arma 1.

this clearly requires more iQ than i got.

because:

We kept the rsynk in order to let you decide after the first big pack download if you want to keep updating via yoma (which is in itself linked to an updater) or via your own client side six-updater (you will need to set it up like everyone else though beforehand)

This decrepit Flashpointer yearns for the "unzip to folder" days of his youth...

Has any tried the EASA Module yet? I can't get the No Hanger requiremented dropped.

NoHangar

Allows to override the need for a hangar building. If set, the EASA Vehicle is created where the logic was placed.

EASA_MODULE setVariable["NoHangar", x]

x stands for true ENABLED, false DISABLED

Default is "FALSE"

I've tried:

EASA_MODULE setVariable["NoHangar", true]

but it doesn't work. I've also tried a bunch of other combos but it still says I need a hanger. Anybody got any suggestions?
